    I lifted a grasshopper type thingy and put it out the window today (came in on the washing)....how brave was that?!

    I have a spider survival technique if you want to try it, you still have to be brave though.
    1. find a boot that is quite flat on the bottom and put you hand in it
    2. Carefully get as close to the spider as you dare
    3. be very brave and hit the spider very hard with the sole of the boot
    4. leave the squished remaines for OH to clean up
