Cheers for posting this - I thought I was going barmy with red crosses.:rolleyes:

I even mailed the EMail Tech (and got back a mail telling me that I didn't pay for the site and they cannot answer all the questions lol).

I noticed that the smilies disappeared after I tried to log on to MSE (don't blame me its not my fault they have gone). I think it was Thursday when I noticed, I had been on MSE in the morning and when I logged in again in late morning/early afternoon I couldnt actually get on to the MSE main site at all and had to google the forum just to get in.

I was wondering if we had been attacked by aliens again *looks confused*

The weird thing is that if you quote someones post they show but then go again when on general view???

problem seems to have started when they've been sorting the server & it looks like someones messed up the filenames and not updated the links to smileys
