I too use Sainsbobs as long as its full fat, unless Philly is on a special off in which case i buy quite a bit as it usually has quite a long shelf life.0

supermarket own full fat works for me.... try adding some good quality honey rather than icing sugar

I've used Philly, Philly light, Asda own brand and JS own brand. Philly does give a distinctive flavour, but the others work fine. If you beat an ounce of butter into the cheese first it stops it going too runny when you add the icing sugar.
(And I don't fuss about the weight of the carrot, either, just use one whole carrot).:D
I've merged this with an existing thread asking about cream cheeseA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I've weighed all my carrots - the lightest is 265g - I guess I grow big uns!(I do a 8:6:6 three egg sponge and chuck in carrot, sultanas and nuts).
If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0 -

Does this come from the same school of thought that says a chocolate eaten by mistake doesn't count, and any food eaten while walking contains no calories?:D:D
