If you've tried and failed on several PCs, probably your best bet would be to try one of the many CD file recovery tools on it.
IIRC, several people on MSE have used Isobuster http://www.isobuster.com/ and recommended it, though I personally haven't - and I'm not sure if the free download version is fully functional or crippleware.0 -
From a google search there's a free progam which claims to recover files from CD here:

I haven't tried it, so please don't take this as a recommendation, but it may be worth a try!Charlie0 -
thanks, i was wondering about any recovery software... the replacment option is a no go unfortunatly, they wanted over £200 to replace, dispite what we paid originally - and we cn't afford that!Ok, ok, i need to go back onto Weightwatchers, lost 7 stone..... 2 back on, this has to change.....Help!!!:eek:0
