Ryanair add bag, but one-way only?

  • Ryanair charges £8 per pag if you book online. I've no problem paying that, but when I try to book it, it wants to charge me £16 - which I presume is for the outbound and inbound leg. Of course, the bag will only be carried on the outbound leg. So, how do I book the bag on just the outbound leg and not the return leg?[/quote]

I've done this a few times from Stansted - just go to the Ryanair ticket/information desk and you can buy a baggage chit for the single leg of your journey - much more cost effective than booking it online (just get there in plenty of time in case you have to queue)
  • If you have seen the state some suitcases come off the baggage pick up, I certainly wouldnt trust a PC base unit remaining intact.

How is it more cost effective - doing it at the airport costs £16 per bag, doing it online is £8 for the first bag times 2 because it's a "return" booking
