Why do people risk it all to buy vouchers of Ebay?

  • some companies, give there staff bonus in vouchers so they have to use them in store.

    I know a couple of companies that do this.

    Also if you get a voucher and you dont like the place your not going to say ewwwww i dont want it.

    And if you do buy a stolen one............ then you can make a claim on ebay because it wasnt as stated.

    Also Credit CArd covers it on the basis of item stolen

    With regard to the latter point and my earlier post, are you sure that credit cards are liable if used to buy stolen goods, as I don't believe that is the case.

    Secondly and as has been stated before it is not a good idea to rely on ebay /paypal to protect you against stolen items. Doing a claim through ebay will cost £15 for starters and has an upper limit of £105. A claim through paypal may well find in your favour, although the burden of proof will be on the buyer to prove they have a fake item, but if the seller has cleaned out their paypal account the buyer is unlikely to get anything back at all.
