Seen this on so many forums. Most of what has been said is true

1. It's illegal
2. It doesn't work
3. You get charged eventually
4. You wasted 99p

I don't agree with 2 & 3, it does work, & if you never plug your box back into the phoneline, you will never be charged. As for 4, if you search hard enough on the net you'll find the info for free, but I totally agree with 1, it's illegal & shouldn't be on MSE

I worked for Sky for nearly 3 years and there are always new scams around where apparantly you are able to get free sky channels, free pay per view, free !!!!!! channels etc etc.

It is rubbish, there is not a scam around that Sky do not know about no matter what anyone says. They spend hundreds of thousands a year to ensure that their systems are so up to date and secure that they cannot be hacked or scammed.

They know if you are scamming them and they will hit you with the bill. They may let you get away with it for a while but they will in the end hit you with the bill.

I saw it first hand whilst working for them, chipped boxes etc etc all of them do not work. I strongly advise you not to even bother with it.

We all appreciate your good intentions. Perhaps a nice coffee sample or good freebie would be nice

If anything sways towards the 'naughty' freebie such as the one you have posted, best to keep it secret. But we boarders do respond well to a good find.

I got something to watch it through my PC but only for FREE channels - some work but some don't but it costs 99p so you pay for what you get.

Apparantly you can get premiership footy on a saturday but I'm normally at some footy ground, so haven't tried it yet

The best way to get sky is to buy it ;D & its jolly good too ;D

The Freebies section of this forum is only to be used to discuss legal ways of saving money. To me this seems at best a grey area and at worst illegal. In any case we need to err on the side of caution so I would request we leave this topic alone.
