Wits end with useless seller.

Need a vent. August 23rd I bought DS a baseball cap of ebay. New seller, but total price was only £3.50. Then I waited.

And waited.

Then I emailed, several times I emailed with no response, despite the fact that seller had listed auctions in the meantime. Finally on Monday, I lost patience and filed with paypal.

Isnt it funny how filing a claim seems to be inextricably linked with the seller suddenly feeling the urge to contact you?! And the excuse was one of the better ones....
I have been in contact with Royal Mail and have been trying to track a batch of items I sent. After well over a week, the royal mail have tracked the items (which your was one of) to the post office I sent the items through.
They are opening an investigation as to why these were not received.

I will send tomorrow on next day delivery
ooookaaay... Incidentally, she gave me the tracking number back in August. I tried it myself and it doesnt track, let alone track to her P.O....

Anyway, its friday and guess what? No cap. Dispute has now been escalated and Ill be amazed if I ever see it. I cant for the life of me work out why though, all she sells is low item bits of clothing and she has sold probably a dozen bits since I won mine on 23rd August, yet only has 2 feedback. Why not bother to send little bits?

Im mulling over my feedback wording as I type...

You can just hear the clattering of keys as thousands of posters take offence at things that were meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

Sorry OP, I'll shut up now!

  • If the seller has sent the item by recorded delivery, it won't track until delivered. If it has gone missing, or been held up, you won't be able to track it. Doesn't mean the seller is lying.

I think in this case the seller is lying dont you? Especially as seller claims she tracked it using the number she gave me back to the Post Office she sent it from.....

Anyway, she was sending next day delivery on tuesday. Guess what, still not here.
