The retail park mentioned does have the occasional attendant especially on match days so be careful when parking there. You could try parking around somerset road as previously suggested. You can still park for free around moldgreen and aspley, these places are not too far from town. Alternatively the bus (I know) doesn't take that long and the bus pass will be much cheaper than fuel and parking stress! Good luck with your degree.There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0

I got told off for parking there! LOL! My friend used to come from Oldham, park at Storthes, then get the bus with us lot. I live in the middle of town now, so dont need to worry! There was round the back of Aspley. But that has all been cornered off.
