You could try phoning t-mobile and asking them what they suggest.0

Having being a TMobile customer for over 4 years now I’m sorry to say that they will not be of much help.
They will probably take the stance of ‘well it was fine before and you chose to move’ and hold you to your contract stating it is not their issue and referring you to the T’s & G’s you signed.
All is not lost I did hear that phones 4 u / carphone warehouse will buy you out of your current contract so that you can sign to a 18 month deal with them. You will need to contact them re the T&G’s as there are some limitations.
Going with this option you could save money with a new deal, get a new handset and have a reception.0 -
hello
im haveing the same problem with t-moblie, there saying that because you got the phone with them in my old address my current address does not matter, i could not find anything about this in the terms (http:/ / https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/ content/ pdf/ tcs_cvn_55.pdfhttp)HOWEVER you could write to them like i have (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/contact-us/) dont know if i'll hear anything back mine.

**Before reading this bear in mind I left T-Mobile in March 2007**
I worked in the retention department and I had several customers with the problem that you are having. Whilst they agreed that the signal was rubbish...and if you complained enough, we got a manager over. They'd look at the account and with their authorisation (and I have to stress this is rare, I did it twice in 15 months) they would let you send the phone back to T-Mobile and once we'd received it we cancelled the contract.
Not sure if they still do it, but I specifically remember doing that twice for customers.
Hope this helps0 -

If the coverage is supposed to be excellent and that's not what your experiencing, usually I would try a sim swap (dont know if it actually works but if the signal strength is better in the other phone then it's the phone thats not pickin it up) If the signal is still pants, and street check says its good, then techniqual team will look into this. hoping that you get through to them, as it's harder to get through to any department these days. See what they say, let me know

Hi Jess, just to let you know that i got thru to tech supp yesterday and the girl i got thru to wasnt very helpful, she said that "if i bought a car and it didnt fit in the garage then i wouldnt take it back". I said if i bought the car with the agreement that it would fit in my garage before i bought it and it didnt fit then i would take it back. She didnt have a response and said im sorry there is nothing i can do "what do you want me to do? After 15 minutes, the phone went dead, and i assume she hung up. I got straight back on and thru to someone else who was much more helpful and he confirmed that there is supposed to be excellent coverage at my postcode.
im waiting on an email back from their customer support team. Im terribly angry at the level of service i received from the first person.:mad:0
