Please-Advice wanted for Broadband Simpleton!

Hi
I have just signed up with BT for calls (to keep our old number following a house move). I now want broadband (the mobile thing from3 justisn't working out!). I don't want to download music I just want something to use at weekends, evening and the occasional work from home day which is speedy and reliable. Can someone help, ideally something that can be organised quite quickly (as a note there is no way I would go back to Talk Talk).
