  • Sadly not me, rjh, would have loved to do it as it sounds like a really good and fun one, but it is my staff night out tonight! Good luck though - perhaps some of the others might be heading down there? I think I have finished now for the year - just have a couple of days at the community centre next week, but dont think it will be busy - will have to see.
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T

  • rjh, what about a saturday stall (or a friday one for that fact too) at St. George's Market? Saturdays tend to be more craft type things, I know of one girl who sells candles etc there and there is an online craft store who sell their wears on a saturday... Fridays tend to be the general market, but there are still some stalls available, and it is always busy - would definitely increase awareness of your business... sorry if I'm repeating something you already were aware of!

I would be tempted to do a few different market stalls, Bangor for instance, just to highten awareness... and I wonder about shopping centres, you know how there are little stands that can be leased for a short time...

thanks its my life i unfortunatel do not have a budget for this sort of thing. i make very little on my cakes as baby things are so expensive so to recoup the price of a stall i would need to sell a lot of them and it seems to be a product that none buys on the spot either5. gonna have to rely on word of mouth until the big bucks start rolling in. also back to work in january mon-wed so even less tine then

  • I didn't realise it was nappy cakes that you were making, we made one for a friend a while back and had a great time, but I see what you mean about there being small profit on them. I did see a stall at the market for a few weeks with nappy cakes on them - I guess they just did a few weeks as promotion. Good luck with them, if i hear of anyone interested in nappy cakes I'll point them in your direction!
