  • my local craft shop does goody bags with loads of crafting stuff in for about a tenner. also ive noticed some things in there on sale to make room for all there xmas stock, you might find your local craft shop doing the same. also ive been in 2 different shops today and both have had massive shelves of scrapping card and paper all different colour and then there are 3 size folders one was 2.99 one 5.99 and another 8.99 you buy what size you want and fill it with as much paper and card as you can possibily fit into it. good idea me thinks. x

  • melissa75, thats lovely, really pretty. i bet your mum will be chuffed. i saw some scrapbooking albums yesterday but each page was in a clear sleeve, i didnt think they where any good for me as i like the scrapbooks which have all the layers and buttoms and stuff stuck on. x

  • I haven't got any pages here to upload but I might get a chance later when I get home. All my pages are in plastic sleeves betterlife and I ues all sorts of layers and buttons and buckles and fibres. It works fine except occasionally I have to cut the card down by a few mm to make it fit in the sleeve. Doesn't normally matter though.

I'm a member at www.ukscrappers.co.uk too. Its an amazing resource and a great place to go for inspiration and chat and shopping!! Not been there for over a year though. Must find some time to start scrapping again...DS came along and kind of put a pause on it. I have a couple of layouts picked and in plastic sleeves ready to be designed and fixed but it's getting around to actually doing it thats the issue for me at the moment.

  • You can order scrapbook inspirations online or go on the market place on UKS and ask if anyone has a copy to sell :D

I haven't tried that book betterlife but I try not to buy too much now as I end up with so many things and get overwhelmed and this gives me scrappers block :(

  • That sounds really good betterlife :) I used to do mine when the kids were babies too because I knew they would keep me up all night wanting feeds anyway so I just took advantage and scrapped :)
