Anyone know of any good places to look for trainee jobs?
I.E
Trainee Recruitment
Trainee Estate Agent/Management
Trainee Stockbroker
Trainee Accountant
Just jobs like that, i dont like doing a general search on the net because you end up with a hell of a lot of junk.

And whats funny about that? There was a trainee Accountancy vacancy last week advertised in Stockport, no expierence and they would put you through the neccesary qualifications.Poverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -
Perhaps you could look at what you actually want to do, as your current options do seem all over the place.
What qualifications do you have? What experience do you have?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Almost all the larger (and many smaller) accountancy firms have a training scheme - often, one for graduates and one for A-level school leavers. However you should bear in mind that these places are a) very competitive and b) very hard work, so you should be really sure of what you want to do before signing up. Your list is incredibly broad which is probably why the poster above was laughing (though hardly a helpful post).
I'd suggest you have a look at a website such as https://www.prospects.ac.uk - this is primarily for graduate jobs but they have a section on each kind of job and how to get into it, as well as things like opportunities for progression in each career and salaries. Finally, they have graduate trainee opportunities listed in their database.
You could also look up the top 10 or so firms in each category and visit their websites. They will usually have extensive careers pages for their graduate programmes which will also help you to get an idea of what it would be like to work for them.
Of course, the problem is that we don't know what your qualifications are - if you don't have a degree, you may find it much harder to get onto a training course like the ones you asked about above.0 -

At the end of the day im looking for a career rather than drifting from call centre to call centre, its like trades at the end of the day, id have been happy 5 years ago had i gone into a trade, i feel its too late now for me on that score so my next option is a trainee vacancy like one of the ones ive said. They are all thins im interested in getting into.Poverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -
It is never too late to get a trade or a profession, especially if you are only 21/ 22!
However, with you now suggesting that you would ideally be interested in something manual (most of the trades are more manual than clerical), it again emphasises that you really need to consider your options more carefully.
To interview well for any job, you need to be passionate about that area of work. You cannot be passionate about being a plumber, electrician, accountant, recruiter, and an estate agent!
Prospects is an excellent source of information, definitely have a look.
You still have not said what qualifications and experience you have?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Dont want to go manual trades now, i wish id have done it back then but id never wanted to, now i see my mates fully qualified on good money.
Ive always looked into recruitment/accountant/stockbroker/estate agent and other sales style career jobs.
Ive always done telesales and customer service.Poverty 2012 - F**K My low wage!0 -

As you will not answer the question (that has been asked twice now), I am assuming that you have no qualifications. If that is the case, you will have problems getting into many (if not all) professions.
You have listed accountancy as a 'sales style career job'. You really need to do some research - there is absolutely nothing sales related about accountancy.Gone ... or have I?0 -

That's really not true. But I digress.
OP, what qualifications do you have? Depending on your grades, you may not be eligible to get a job with an accountancy firm. There's no point telling you about the job if you're definitely not going to be able to go after it.0 -

I should know - I am an accountant.Gone ... or have I?0
