Followed MSE's advice and changed home insurance provider - £31 a month saved

Switched to MSE's recommended 0% balance transfer credit card - £ 53 a month in interest saved

Transferred 5K credit card debt to existing (unused) card with 0% balance transfer offer - £53 a month saved.

Interest saved on credit cards will be used to increase payments on same, so the money saved is actually saving me more money!

All done from the comfort of my home and online.

I feel well pleased, but a little sad that I didn't do this years ago

I actually found the whole process fun, even if it was born out a need to get my finances under control.
