we were very civil about it, The other rep text me and informed me that I was dropping on her road as she had found 2 of my books, so I got straight on to asm to get the problem sorted. She gave the books back to me and we had a little chat about it.
The other rep then said i could keep the customers this time but she will be giving them the next book! The next book was already with them before i had a chance to give out the orders and ask the customers if they were happy with me etc, as she had never canvassed they didn't even know the other rep. So I lost them all!
But never mind, i'm down on sales this time but hopefully it'll pick up in C18
keep ya chin up hun shell soon get bored!!!!!!!!Bingo Mad!!!!!!!!:beer:0 -
What do you all plan to do about the C1 'Sale' book. Personally, I won't be giving it out as it's nearly all branded stuff which is fixed discount, so not worth selling
A couple of friends of mine (also reps), who I meet at the monthly Avon meetings, held a Party/Bazaar in a local hall yesterday evening. I popped in for a while and it seemed to be going really well. They had stalls round the edge of the hall with products on - one for perfumes, one for gifts etc, etc., and tables in the middle where people were taking orders. They also had a student beautician doing manicures, a lucky dip, raffle etc. I hope they made lots of money as it must have been such hard work getting it all organised.
I don't hand out the 'sale' booklets. Because I'm on Mailplan N I'm worried that my customers will order loads from them, just to find out that everything is out of stock. I haven't actually tried this theory yet, but I'm not gutsy enough lol :rotfl:C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -
I told the rep on my territory that she could keep the 3 customers she had picked up but she couldn't canvass for anymore.
I had a young girl helping me deliver books, I told her the numbers not to deliver too, including this rep's customers, I gave her the Blue Avon book with do not deliver to these addresses written in, and she still delivered to all of them and the other rep's customers. Saw my book in the customer's window, so she must be waiting for me to knock and collect to tell me there is another rep.
Guess the young girl won't be helping me again!0 -

A mailplan is what everyone is on. It starts from A to 0. So those on mailplan A in theory will get all the items they order from a book and those on the lower end of the mailing plan are more likely to find out some of their items are not in stock.
Not sure that it always works this way but know from reading on here, those who usually say a lot of their items - popular ones, are out of stock are on lower mailplans.0 -
