    Hi guys
Signed up to become an Avon rep today and got all my bits and bobs. Was just wondering about the HT brochure...who can order things from it and how many items and also the clearance section?
    Thanks

You can order one of each HT item... and as many as you want from the clearance!

  • Hi everyone

Could someone let me know if MOV is made up of the retail price of brochure products ordered or is MOV the your cost price of brochure products? (Plus it includes your bits and pieces from HT)

    Thanks very much!!

Your order value is EVERYTHING you order including demo products, brochures, bags and clearance items. Any returns, however, come off the order value.
One tip - if anything is shown as 'sold out' when your stock indicators come up (a couple of days before your order is due), don't delete those items as they will count towards your total order value ;)

you could always as a friend to host the party for you in return for discount off their order or a free gift.

I just thought I would mention (as I have only just found it lol) but on the avon website if you click on 'Training' when you have signed into your account they have various downloads which may be of use to some of us...I like the 'mascara chart' as I do get a bit confused with mascaras so this is a guide to those that avon sell...and there are various different slips/flyers that some might find useful...

Just thought I would mention it, don't know if I was being thick in not finding it before!!!!

  • right....AVON!!! ARRRGGGHHH
    had a very strange day

4 items OOS. 2 from one order and just as i was sorting it out i got a text from THAT customer saying she had to cancel her order...lucky really considering half of it was missing. one will be sent soon thankfully and the last one was a present from me to someone and the only thing i ordered for 'me' this time from ht. :( sods law eh? said its out of stock and no one EVER but im gonna order again as its in the latest HT so will see what happens

next...has anyone ordered the 'silver fabric covered photo frame'???? ITS AWFUL! Im sending the one i got back cause its actually terrible! £4+ in HT and £8 in the latest brochure!!! Its honestly a bit of card wrapped in fabric with a plastic bit instead of glass. It looks, feels and IS tacky! very disappointed. I wouldnt blame anyone for sending back that piece of crap!

third and 4th incentive for reaching HOV....really? is THAT IT? so initially you wanted me to make £500 (now lower) over 2 campaigns so i could get about 10 samples and a folder with a basic notepad and thin calculator??? Hardly worth it! I would have rather not worked my bum off for that thank you! I know its free but its hardly an incentive! If i had been shown that and asked if it would make me try harder the answer would be NO!

THEN blimmin customers. I drop notes/call/text to say when im delivering and to let me know if they want me to deliver at certain times. does anyone bother? no. I try a week before, the friday when ive ordered AND the day i get the delivery.
one customer text saying 'you come now' lol so i went and she left me at the door for ten minutes cause she couldnt find her money. so she gave me what money she did have and i left that amount in goods, tell her ill come back wed when im next delivering 'hmmm no tomo?' ok then ill come tomo instead. So i leave and five mins down the road she calls telling me she has money now! arrrggghhh cant you see ive loaded up the buggy and i just want to get this over and done with!?

oh i wish they understood how its not just one customer we have to chase after and if they each knew maybe there wouldnt be any! life would be simple. it doesnt have to be this hard. but i still do it with a smile lol

    rant over xx
