  • Not been here for a while, just caught up with everything.
I still don't have many C15 books, can only do 1 road. My plan is to do it all at once as I get lazy and have my week off Avon from order to delivery. I have a few customers with orders but still I don't know where my books have gone. Maybe it's just me going a bit mad. Been having a rubbish time at the moment and am depressed, house is a state, job is crap. Gonna put my energy into Avon, well try to. Going to deliver loads tomorrow, but my C15 round is going to suffer again. I am ordering a few more books each campaign. I will get used to it eventually!! Still got about 10 customers to deliver to, so much to do! trying not to get stressed about it as that's when I start to get depressed.
Sorry for boring you all! x
  • DSM name required for area 111 if you are able to look it up on Flisseys - big thanks if you can!

Also, thanks to everyone who has voted / is voting for Alicia - she's still in the top 100 so fingers crossed she can stay there!!

I've voted too... would love it if anyone could vote for my little man! Go to google and type in sunbeams (its a competition run by the sun newspaper - I can't put a link to it as I'm a new user), and put Maxwell Bellman into the search bar and click on his picture to bring up the voting button. Thank you so much! Gotta get something good out of being an Avon rep!!!

know how it feels - i get all worked up about delivering products:o. what i do now is leave a card to say that i tried to deliver and to contact me. that way either they contact you or you just go round next time you feel up to it. that way it is not your fault - if they wanted you to deliver the next day they could have phoned! the more you do it the easier it gets and having a set day for delivery does help - that way if they know you will be round sunday lunchtime (for example) if they are decent customers then they will be expecting you and have money ready...

if you still have 10 left then bung it half of them into a bag and make sure that you are going to the shop or something - that is why you are out. then if you delivered some orders you could get a bar of choc as your treat!!
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:
  • lovely avon put all of the instructions on the clear plastic bag or leaflet with it!!!

puss cat (who is terminally ill) has been sick all over mine (not to mention carpets, duvets etc!) and i don't think a sponge wash will get it completly clean.

so... lovely day here still and stuff will dry so am thinking of putting him in a pillow case and washing him:eek:

anyone else had to do this or am i the first?

will wait a little while for replies or warming bear goes on a quick wash :eek::eek:

been out this morning collecting stray books from my first territory! Awfully glad i did... collected 2 orders one of which was £46!:D Had another 2 customers say they will be passing it in as they havent had chance to right the order but DO want things! So not bad to get potentially 4 orders from the 7 callbacks i had to do..

Have got 6 more to do now on my second territory but i really dont want to! All motivation has gone.....They are the usual suspects for not leaving the books out and spread out all over the place and so it gets a bit boring.. also gonna deliver a note to a woman who hasnt paid for an order from 2 campaigns ago!!

OOOOh but back to being positive i have sold all 3 bottles of the In Bloom i got on the moneymaker offer! :D:D:D:D Granted i ran a promo and sold them at £12 so only make £2 commission on each one.... BUT my customers are happy as they got a 25% discount (and the free bag!)... and im happy cos i dont have to return them!!! First time ive ever sold ANYTHING ive bought on the moneymaker thing! hahahaha
  • I had the warming sheep from about 2 years ago. He had velcro down the back and a little bag of ball type things inside. I take the bag out and pop the sheep into the wash. When he's dry, just put the bag back in him.

  • Found another rep canvassing on a friends territory the other day. Text her and left it down to her to sort.

Hope folks would do the same for me.

  • Hi All,

I have heard a couple of people mention before that they have sold some stuff at carboot from the clearance section in hello tomorrow. From the notes in there it appears that we shouldn't be doing this but it would make a nice bit of extra money and hopefully bring in a few extra customers. What are peoples thoughts on this?

  • Hi Kelly,
How did you know what your credit limit is and is this set every month or just the first month?

    Thank you in advance.

    Laura

    Hi Laura,
My ASM told me on the 2nd visit, hence having to sign my husband up!
Think mine was low due to how many reps seem to do a runner in my area!!
It was my understanding that the credit limit doubles each month? Never had any other problems so far!
Hope you have been able to find your limit out. Good luck with your 1st order!

  • Hi, new to Avon, Could anyone tell me how to work out the delivery date from order, so that I can put an estimated delivery date on my books (if you see what I mean). Thanks

for me, my order deadline is on a Friday, with the order being delivered to me the following Thursday. I then deliver on the Tuesday, giving myself the weekend to sort through the orders and books. also I figure that Tuesday gives people enough time to get over the weekend and if they've gone away, they'd be back by then.
I do make it clear to customers, if the day I'm delivering isn't suitable for them to contact me to make alternative arrangements. it's helped a few times that I'm flexible.

I also email or text them a couple of days before to remind them that I will be calling round with their order.

on the subject of books, I have 172 houses, plus I give them to friends.
at first I had the 40 books that they recommend. I have now reduced that to 30 to see how I do as I'd say I have atleast 30 houses that are not interested.
for C18 I've ordered 35, so that i can give it an extra push so close to christmas.

oh and with just under a week until i have to submit c15 and with a round of books being dropped off tomorrow, i'm already upto £350+
