Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Found lots of mistakes lately. Wrong item sent last time. Always recharging for returns so every time have to querry it to get a recredit, which they do, but should get it right first time. Had a whole box go missing on C11 nothing to say why. Rang and queried but woman couldnt really understand what i wanted. Really makes you feel like giving up at the moment.
Will see what today brings when order is delivered.

Had my delivery yesterday, quite a few bits missing too! Though on the plus side got some random extras - and they also sent a gift for completing my first 10 campaigns as a Rep! Not complaining....but I'd rather they have got my order right! Luckily the bits missing from OH order don't matter as they are for the carboots this weekend but isn't the point! Have emailed them again to complain....when I did it last campaign they sent them really quickly and had the replacements by Friday....hoping it works again this time!

My last order was the first one where I had items missing and an extra item delivered. I emailed them and they still said it would take 5-7 days to deliver and it did.

I went to the customer's house to deliver them to her, and she denied all knowledge of placing the order... lol.

Her husband said we don't do avon and they had left an old Avon book outside, from March 2009 with a different reps details on it... now why keep something for so long?

anyway on my list of do not leave a book in future, as do not want this hassle every time.

Lol some people are so odd...had a new customer on OH territory...delivered her order (even as she had spent over £10 gave her a free gift as I ran an offer that camp...explained to her when delivered order and she just looked miserable lol)...when oh went to deliver the next book to her....her husband shouted at him don't bother leaving a book as we don't want that sh*t!!! Lol if it was so bad....why not return it! Needless to say....no we won't be giving them a book again!

People are strange aren't they? And I have noticed it is always the husband who says we don't do Avon or no thanks and their wives are in the background... looking longingly at the book.....

I have a customer who has started placing regular orders but is so miserable... I feel like saying, we all have problems you know!

Lol I have so many miserable customers.....after 6 months of me being their rep I get a vague smile from some of them....not a genuine smile though lol, miserable !!!!!!s! And yet if OH delivers their order they are lovely, chatting with him for ages lol! I always joke that the ladies love him - but it's only the ladies over 60 or one ladies teenage daughter pmsl!

How long before your credit appears on the website? I rang through the other day. Got loads to give back this camp, will do it on the website, people not paying from the previous campaign grr!! Going to do the rest of them online and package them all up for mr delivery man next Wed - will I have to do them all at once or I can I put a few in at a time?

You can do it either way....I usually do mine as I get them, so some campaigns I end up with several returns forms lol - so long as you make sure that the barcode on the box matches what you write on the form then it's fine.

Your credits can take a while to appear - sometimes they go on fairly quickly, but I seem to find that mine aren't credited until I have swapped onto the next campaign - but if you make a note of the value of the credits (obviously the amount avon will credit you rather than the customer amount) then you can underpay your balance by this amount, and then when they are put through on the change over to the next campaign it will take your balance to zero!

ok i think im gonna do it! im going to order a bumper box this campaign. theyre doing the daily online gift thing and todays is a few good items for £7.50 which i was tempted by as i had ordered similar things for freebies for customers, but then i thought....oh i dont know, bumper box = MORE stuff and i can split it over 2 campaigns...

should i or shouldnt i? its my birthday of the 7th - which is my next delivery date so i think its more so i can get a boxful of stuff for meeeeeeee

Lol - you can always get it - if you don't like the stuff it says at the bottom you can return it so long as everything is there...I'm going to be ordering the really large one to hopefully get some bits to sell at carboots & also for freebies & maybe even Christmas presents depending what is it there!
