I wouldn't worry everyone about low sales, none of us are doing anything wrong I think it's just with the holidays coming up people are saving their money or know that they will away for the delivery of it! I'm struggling this time too!

For the newbies - your SL will only be refunded for 20 books for each of your first campaigns, so any books you get on top of that is at their own cost. Also - don't try and cover all of your territory with C11 books, cover half - then when you are on C12 give the houses you've been to the C12, and the other houses who never had a book C11 books. Means you are getting more use out of your books that way which will save you having to buy as many in the long run - you can do this as you can "back-order" onto the previous campaign.

I am a new Sales Leader.

I wasn't advised how low the credit limit was on some Reps first order. One of my reps has placed an amazing £670 order in her first campaign She has now been told by Avon that she has to pay £370 in order for them to release the order.. The reason she has taken up Avon is because money is tight having just returned to the UK.

The only other options seem to be:

She verbally cancels £370 worth of her order and then I place it for her- neither of us have the time for this at the moment

I pay £370 on her behalf (I am not sure I can afford this at the moment)

Any ideas to help so that she is not too demotivated and continues in the same vain?

This will be mine for 2009: 1) ITV Cash Win 2) Weekend break in a place I have never been to before 3) A Hairstyle revamp/Makeover

I must do better than last year? - Mar 2009- tickets to see Hairspray

I am a size 5 and I wear the small. It depends (without being rude) how big your feet are, as to if you sway more towards a 6 then a 5. If you are a small 6, then the small size should be fine. You could always order both pairs and send back the pair that are not best fit.

Doo Lally, how amazing that your sales rep got such a high value order on their first go. My smilies are not working otherwise would clap hands. Can't answer your question but well done to your Sales rep.

ok got my customer loyalty pack and will say this, if you have a printer and are artistic, or can use vistaprint to your advantage, might be better to make your own loyalty cards.....

I have received 20 customer loyalty cards which are very nice but I think I am paying for the 5 24K gold lipsticks more than anything else.

I don't have a printer, so am going to keep this pack and use it, but not highly recommended.

The cards are only business cards size and have 6 spots for you to stamp or cross for the customer. On the reverse you put the customer name and rep name and contact and above all that, a small box, saying Dear Customer and you fill in the rest, with "spend "£15 or more in a campaign and you will receive a stamp. When you have completed the card, you will receive a free gift of xx" This is my wording, not theirs, so you would make it up as you choose to do so.

I can see my customer's losing these though, so would have to keep for them and take out with me every campaign.

HT 14 is great, loads in it. Some strange stuff too, like the pedicure slippers, they unzip to reveal toe separators, allowing you to paint toes with no mess, allow nails to dry, zip to keep feet cosy - strange

the reps pack for £20 is full of foot and nail stuff, worth £72. This looks good and is stuff my customers have been buying, so might get to use as gifts.

there is a page on the Presidents Club and Star Points, so will help a little to explain better how it works.

exfoliating flip flops - get smooth, soft feet while you walk with these fabulous exfoliating flip flops.

I wouldn't be seen outside of the house wearing these....in the house yes, but outside no.

also you can still use your Discover Avon flyers in C12 and C13.

That doesn't strike me as very low tbh. You wouldn't walk into Tesco and get £670 worth of stuff out of the door by telling them that you'll pay them soon, would you ?

I sympathise with your current predicament now though.

I am confused!! I am going to pay my invoice now £124.40 but I sent a return back last week and it's not showing on my online account!!! What can I do? I don't have the information of what it was as I am at work, do you think I should submit it again? Ring them (Please don't say that!!)???
  • Lyndsey - I always pay my invoice minus my returns. You can look up how much your item was that you returned by looking at your invoice online. I have always done this and have never been told otherwise by Avon. I didn't return my items last delivery as didn't get a chance, they are going to get a bunch this time though!

ETA - You are doing really well this time round Lyndsey!!
    Avon Rep

    C8 - £417.09, C9 - £613.14:jC10 - £378.18
    C11 - £301.72, C12 - £284.92, C13 - £220.14,
    C14 - £194.36, C15 - £300.91

I don't really like sending things back-i'm a small 6, but have worn 7s before so think i'll get the larger size, thank you :)
