The poundlnd 80 for £1 bags do fir a normlal brochure in, but its quite snug - you need to fold up order forms into the book.

Find they look really neat, and better than folded over larger bags.

    Hi guys,
I'm a bit worried, my first delivery is due to come tomorrow, but it still says prepared on the website, do you think there is a problem, the order total was only £170, so don't think it'll be the credit limit thing, should I call and find out?

    Hi vicki,

My first order said sent to carrier, but my second order said prepared even after it was delivered so I am sure its probably ok, wouldn't hurt to call them tho.

    Well done Mousie :T

Can't stop long at the mo, am doing order management for the first time :) but Pinzy, do you drive? If so I have tons you can have, I don't drive otherwise I would meet you part of the way. I am in Coventry

Thanks for the offer Silver, if I didn't have a gas guzzling beast I'd nip up there, but fuel would probably cost me more money than I'd ever get in orders!

    Hi lynsey,
I am in MK as you know, but unfortunately I was only given 20 c15 and I only have about 15 left now to do the half of the road that is on that campaign and also only one week to do it, I have plenty of c14 or c16 brochures if that is helpful?

    Kat x

Kat, thanks for the offer. We can't order from the C14s though can we? It's difficult cuz it's first time round and trying to sort out how to split the campaigns to different streets etc. Feel like my life has been taken over by Avon at the mo! But at least I know it'll get easier once I know what I'm doing.
    :)

I am re-taking books for campaign 15 out tomorrow to a new street, I am wondering whether or not to put the samples I have ordered for Bond Girl 007 (only ordered 4 packs of 5) in with the books or to put a sticker on the page in the brochure saying "Ask me for a sample" or something similar, any advice would be appreciated.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has any spare ring sizer sheet they don't need (due to giving up Avon etc) and would be willing to send them in the post to me? as I only have 20 but I am taking out 40 books twice and have found that some people keep them so I end up with less for future use.

    thanks in advance :)

Sorry I don't have any spare. Why can we only order 10 a time anyway? I lose more than that everytime :p

Aargh Lucy would you believe how bad this timing is? My ASM gave me a load last week and I gave them all out to my reps :wall:

Ask your ASM or upliner, they may have some squirrelled away - I know I've started to stash order forms, calling books, calling cards etc, ring sizers are virtually the only thing I don't have. Mikiki, like anything else in life the piddletaker minority spoil it for the rest of us - I can just imagine people ordering hundreds of sheets just because they're free.

Lynsey, that's a pity, I have about 60 C15s spare (due to the fact my ASM and I scrounged all the surplus off local ASMs who have earlier mailplans than us - then, sods law, all our appointments postponed into C16) and am at the point that newbies are getting some C15s as well as 16s just to get them through their territory quicker! Well, the offer's there anyway, they're a freebie if that helps.

Well, at the end of C15 I am already getting rid of two people, one of whom was too bone idle to show the catalogue to even one single person  and one who I just cannot be bothered to chase any more . I've texted, phoned, called round, and got to the point where it's really not worth any more time or effort. So I'm down to 9 again. But I have an appointment Friday to bring me up to 10 again :D and a some leads to chase :D and a stall at a charity ladies' night to organise :D and I'm hoping to tag a trainee sales leader this week :D so I'm trying to be on the brightside. Lynsey, it's very nice of you to say I'm an inspiration, but right now I just feel frazzled :rotfl:Anyone considering sales leadership, remember that often you will have to chase useless people (not everyone's as hardworking and reliable as us ;)) and sometimes you will have to recruit like mad just to keep your team the same size. It's not necessarily a massive negative, but in my experience nobody ever mentions it.

My C15 sales ended up around £360, I was disappointed until Dave pointed out that I sold £160 at the pub party too (if you include moneymaker Ungaro) so it's not so shabby after all! I had hardly any backorder savings, all of my customers order 'megadeal' stuff, but I did get some free bits and a free bag by ordering that makeup set and red clutch from HT16 and I saved a grand total of £3 backordering!

Well, I've rambled enough, one last thing to say:

    IT THROUGH C15 LADIES!!!

Hi everyone, i'm re-joining avon this week. Got my old asm coming tomoro to get me set up again. First time round was total disaster. I was given my road as my teritory but was already taken as are all of the roads near me apparently (i've never had an avon book tho). I only got one order for my first 2 campaigns. But as things are getting increasingly tight i've decided to try again. This time i've asked about and a few of my friends have said they'd be interested, one works in a school and no one does avon there so she said she'd take a book in for me. Feel a bit more positive about it this time round too. Will be reading through this thread over next few days to get me ready for my first campaign and loads of commission (hopefully).

  • Good luck Nicky - I'm sure you'll enjoy it more this time. At least you'll have some moral support on here :D

How is everyone doing with C16? Mine seems to be very slow, although it has a habit of creeping up just when I feel discouraged! I'm not even up to £100 yet, although I've got quite a few still to collect. 16 last year was really good, although that could have been because they hadn't had a reliable Avon Lady for a while. I'm fairly sure that I'll make the MOV for the 25%, but it would would be nice to do better than C15 (around £350).

Lucy - yes, I'd put a note saying 'contact me for a FREE sample' (people never want to risk having to pay ;) ) I've also offered £1 discount if they order it now - I've bought some on the HT moneymaker, but only sold 1 so far. Still that's better than none as I still make a fiver :p

I was going to put ring sizers in the C17 book, but given there are only about 2 rings in there, it doesn't seem worth it!
