    Welcome KatieJane:beer:

Good luck tomorrow lozza1985 let us know what you think;)

Good luck with the bingo AS.

Just wanted to say that my fab camp 9 total was partly thanks to you lot on here. Some days it takes a lot of motivation to get out there and get on with it but when you come on here it sometimes give you a kick up the **** . And when you see how well others are doing you want to do the same. Its funny how you feel like you know everyone on here.
    So here's to campaign 10:beer:

why would you travel 300 miles to sign up a rep? there are potential reps everywhere.....may i ask where you live that you cannot find anyone nearer
I intend to have reps 250 miles away - my sister and a good friend are possibly signing up with me the next time I go 'home' for a visit. We also have a family property in North Wales so I may do it a bit of prospecting over there whenever I'm staying there ;)

Ooh I'm so confused now, as my upliner told me the opposite that just 1 visit was fine for a rep. Especially as some of mine are nearly 300 miles away lol (although most now are much nearer thank Gawd). I wish there were standard rules that everyone followed so I knew for certain! Happy to do more visits, in fact 1 visit feels rushed to be honest.

I do this pretty much fulltime now. Do you spend a certain amount of time in your week signing new visits and then a certain amount of time doing followups?
Have a look in either the training or the downloads section on Avon - there are guidelines on what the training should involve from T1 right through to T4 - I found it really helpful.

I do a minimum of 2 visits, more if they are particularly local or I'm passing that way anyway.

Lol I was up that way anyway doing a course so thought I would nip to Leeds to do a signup. Not doing another course there in the near future though ;) so would find it difficult to get back up there.

It's a very steep learing curve, definitely going to stick closer to home now!

I was told these were all unnecessary after T1, the rest could be done by phone. Definitely going to start booking in some second visits!

Hmmph! I am having too much bad luck recently!! Went to deliver the orders, only 2 have paid up so far. One has the money but I have no change at the mo. So left notes through the doors of people not in, I have to do 1 after 7, 1 after 7:45 and one after 8:30. Lucky they are all on my estate!!
So I thought I would deliver some cats. One woman was out playing with her children and I asked if she would like a catalogue and she said she already got one delivered over the weekend!!!!!!! It's part of a road that I never got to last time, but no one else has complained, I haven't got one through the door. I e-mailed my ASM to tell her. Now I know how you lot feel!!!!!

Your customers will soon get the hang of paying up for their orders lol :p

Awh what a shame - hopefully it could just be that the lady got the wrong end of the stick, I had one lady tell me that there was already a rep for her street - checked with asm and no it was definately still mine, and there no books out anywhere else.....the next campaign there was a book outside the same house but not at any of the others so the rep must have done that street ages ago, gave it up and kept her on a F&F without mentioning the change in territory lol!

I really hope it is just a genuine misunderstand rather than someone pinching your territory!!!!
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

I have a lot of new customers this camp, I don't mind, it gets me exercising and it's a lovely evening! I just look like the mad woman stomping round the estate!! LOL!
I hope it's a misunderstanding too - or she was too polite to say she didn't want a cat! I will wait and see, I've not seen any out anywhere else, strange!! Am a bit possessive of this territory as my ASM said the last person to do this (A while ago) was one of her best reps!!

My OH has just started Avon and has managed to get £200 worth of orders from her first 70 houses which I was really impressed with!

Quick question for those who know: when someone has ordered something from the main brochure that is in Hello Tomorrow, is it worth her ordering it from HT but charging the customer the brochure price? I know she can only get one of everything from HT and will get commission on the lower price, but it still works out as a better profit.

She won't get any commission as far as I'm aware if she orders from HT - so you have to work out which is better to make money? I am rubbish at trying to work it out!!!
