Hiya
Still in my first campaign as a sales leader, signed up 16 to date (plus 2 that failed credit checks so 18 really), 5 more to see before the end of my first campaign. I am planning to go to see my reps once and follow up by telephone unless they specifically request extra visits.0 -
Thanks. It was my 2nd delivery and there was so much more this time, with the freebies (Hitting LOA1) and the bargains I couldn't resist!!
I don't check the prices though, do you compare them to what you submitted online (Your online invoice). I am too lazy to go through the brochures with all my orders. Should have brought them into work actually as no one is in and I am left reading MSE!!!0 -
ooh, I like the idea about writing on the bags
will do that when order gets here as need the bags that are on the delivery lol

Everyone is so organised!!! I had Avon stuff all over my living room floor last night!! It's hard distinguishing what people ordered and what the products look like. The customer's description can be a bit vague!!
I'm like this too! I love delivery day, I get really excited even though the stuff isn't mine lol.0 -

welcome to salesleadership,
visit your reps only once? what kind of support can you give and do you expect your reps to become independent just after 1 visit.
i do all my 3 visits , 1st one to sign up , 2nd one to see how they been getting on and to show them how to order/backorder,tips,hinds.etc.
3rd one after delivery arrived to see if everything is alright and show them how to return goods.
the 3rd one can be done by phone , but face-toface training is much better.
and
if your reps seen you more then just once they are more likely to remember you in a nice way.
i understand that you want to build your team fast , so did i but quality reps goes before quantity
its so easy to make mistakes initially so a proper training is vital for a good rep0 -
My ASM did initial sign up, as it was only 6 days before order date she came along on the day my order went in to show me how to submit online etc then another visit 2 weeks later before end of my second campaign. If she'd only given me 1 visit I'd have been all over :rotfl::rotfl: and that's with even knowing about this thread which a lot of people don't (although we are getting busier these days).
She has 350+ reps and still does all 3 visits and responds to emails/phone calls asap and will come round again if ever I need her too. She's fabulousbut she does live and breath Avon

Credit checks??? I wouldn't have been able to be a rep had they credit checked me?? No one told me I would be credit checked?!?!
My ASM signed me up and came to introduce, then she went on her hols and came to see me after, few days before my first order submission. She said I can call her any time and she regularly sends e-mails to her team.0 -
plus if you hand them all there brochures out on 1 visit you will end up wasting alot of money for brochure. as many reps seem very keen initially but then never answer there phone, cancel 2nd appointment or never place an order at all.
been there ..seen that ..its part of it.
2nd camp brochures on the 2nd visit otherwise you will spend more then you earn0 -
Yes, my ASM gave me C8 on her first visit (40) and then on her 2nd visit gave me C9 (40)0

its just an avon credit check..to see if you or your address is on the avon blacklist....reps that never paid there bills.
i once had signed up a lady who said she never done avon before but the credit check came back that she actually owes avon £1000 for the past 2 years.
what a cheek to apply again, same name same dob etc.
of course she was refused
thats what the creditcheck is about0
