If you need help then they should be there, we have had someone dropping books on our streets, we cant contact the ASM so my wife phoned the rep directly and sorted it out, something she should not have to do !0 -

I completely agree, if you need help she should be there. What I am saying, is that I don't think my SL needs to contact me all the time for no reason. As I said in my previous post she is there if I need her. I have never had contact with my ASM, in fact I have been told she recently resigned.Avon Rep

ooo I do hope my target isn't too high - I really want to get my mortgage paid for the year lol :rotfl:though the chances of winning that must be very slim indeed!:p
My ASM is a bit rubbish too, bless her, very nice lady but not organised! I emailed her on Sunday to say I'd thought it through and would definately want to be a SL, she said last week she would ring me on Thursday to arrange taking me out on Friday morning to show me how things work....she better ring that's all I can say!!! Will be very cheesed off if she doesn't - want to get started asap! Especially as my car needs 4 new tyres which is £280So really want to get the extra territory for OH and start getting others signed up!!!!
On a plus note all my returns have been processed so I'm currently £20 in credit, which is handy as had been sitting on some of the orders for a while, and have ordered about £30 of stuff for myself this time *oops*
One thing I wondered about SL - I believe there is another magazine you get being a SL, what types of things are in it? Is like a hints & tips thing?Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Can you successful reps tell me approx how many man hours you put into Avon on an average campaign? Please could you include everything from delivering brochures/chatting to ordering, bagging up, chasing payment etc?
And (optional, as I don't know if this might be sensitive info?) how much you tend to take in order value per campaign?
Thankies!
 Hello! You seem to have got unintentionally overlooked (although, my apologies if i've missed a reply - been out all day and come back to 4 pages) Your question is a bit 'how long is a piece of string' really, but at a very rough guess I suppose I put in about 5-6 hours a week.
No, the amount per campaign is definitely not a secret - we all bang on about it all the time..........especially when we've done well :rotfl: My campaigns recently have been in the £300 - £400 region. You're obviously going into it with your eyes open, as you've had previous experience, so you won't have unrealistic expectations.
I think the time spent will probably vary from campaign to campaign and from person to person.

GRRR!!!! SO ANNOYED!!!
Went to the pub after work (Am easily led) and thought I had missed my neighbour, she had gone to work by the time I ended up getting home, but luckily the nice delivery man had put the boxes in my garden store. I was expecting FIVE units but on his calling card he only put FOUR. 20 Cats are missing!!! I suppose at least it's not stock!! So I've just been on the phone to Avon and they told me that it looks like 1 unit wasn't delivered (Dur) and that I need to ring back tomorrow so they can investigate?!?!?!?!?!
Investigate what? The delivery man only delivered four, when he should have delivered five, it even says it on the card - GIVE ME MY BROCHURES!!!
Anyway, my target is also £500 over next 3 so looks like newbies get an easy ride. Will spend this evening sorting out orders and then letting what customers I can know that I will deliver tomorrow (No leading astray tomorrow!!)
Will I get my missing brochures????0 -
My last order has just been collected/paid for, didn't even have to leave the house :T The customer says she's moving next week but not far from where I live but not on my territory (i deliver to the street she's moving too but I have numbers 80+ and she's moving to number 67 ). I already have an order for her though so will just take a book with the order to her new house anyway
melvis i would say just keep her as your customer....she was your customer before so why shouldn't she stick to you , just put her down as f+f ..... some reps down canvass -- recanvass there roads properly so it might be months until a rep decides to recanvass.0 -
Good to hear that people still enjoy the personal touch! I live in South London and am on the border of Peckham and Dulwich so would be happy to do either area! So keen to get started having read everyone's great advice on here!
lol so you must be the one that called me today..
funny that we only live 15 minutes away from each other what a small world.
see you sunday0 -
omg just seen my target for that incentive thingy on my c9 invoice
to receive 4 fantastic rewards i need overall sales of £1.807 ober camp 10,11,12
a bit high dont you think?
ok my sales are high mostly and yes i am in president club but couldn't i get an easier target
might even be lucky and reach that0 -
Well my online invoice shows I am missing 4 things
3 nail polishs from the daily deal thing
and a mascara from the marrimeko set.
So I am chuffed as they were my stuff anyway to put by as freebies.
I spent in total £90.37 this campaign
but cash wise I only need to add £22 so thats fine.
I ordered a few sun creams my sis and sis in law ordered some so I backordered from C8 and got 3 for £10 so I was £10 for 4 lotions.
minus commission too so good deal :T
And my eldest son needed stuff to hand in for a school bingo night
so gave him stuff from my freebie box - Bottle of Blue Rush, a set of naturals black cherry and Nutmeg - Linen Spray, body lotion and shower gel and also gave him a lantern thing I got from my bumper pack.
Thats my bit done for the schoolLife is what you make it;)0 -
Lyndsey looks like we did got off easy with our targets then! I couldn't imagine a £1800 target:eek:
Well I spent a couple of hours last night sorting through my stuff. I am missing 4 things:eek: and I got sent two things that I didn't even orderI am missing one Spectralash (ordered 7 got 6), one Princess Pink lip duo (ordered 3 but got 2 and a bronze glow one instead),the Arabian glow pressed powder and the delicate body wash (not charged for)The annoying thing is, is that 2 things are from one customer alone. I seem to be getting bad luck with my stuff. The courier also delivered the wrong piece of exercise equipment but she realised and came back with the right one later! So I guess I need to contact avon again. I haven't even checked that I have been charged the correct prices yet either. I am sure my eyelash curler was in a deal in C8 (hence back ordering), if so I have been overcharged as it came in at £5.00.
Also did anyone order the Arabian glow gold liner from the daily deal? I got it yesterday and it is a pencil, I am sure the picture showed a liquid liner, which is why I ordered it. Anyone?Avon Rep
