A friend of mine asked for an insect repellant for going camping
I thought it would have been in with the suncreams but can't see it.

traditionally people have been using avon skin so soft (dry oil body spray)
as a midge repellant. don't know about other bugs.

Hunting online from getting home, they are saying the blue sss dry oil has anyone tried this?
Don't want to recommend it unless it works.
I have told her if I can't find one to buy a bottle of citronella and a spray bottle of water and use that but it would be great to advertise this as an insect repellant if it works xxx

Yes, it does work as an insect repellent :D

This is what my ASM sent me ...

    Hi

I was just hoping someone might be able to help me with a question, i have emailed my temp area manager a few days ago but as yet no answer:rolleyes:

I would like to know how the 'Your Earnings' on each statement is worked out. I am getting really frustrated as i seem to be earning less and less! My earnings this month say they should be £91.81 but it seems in reality i have earnt aprox £20  I have double checked everything on the statement and on customers orders. Oh and i have only ordered £15.12 of bags and books:confused:

What is going on with this? i have NEVER earnt what it states in the earnings bit but just lately its getting worse!:(

    Please help!

Have you also deducted the "commission" from the items you bought as well as the actual cost of them? That will bring the figure down a little more, as well as the costs of books & bags.

Other than that I'm not sure what else could be wrong! Are you keeping your Avon money separate from your normal money as that will help you to keep track of what you've earnt easier also.

  • Thanks for the responses I have emailed Avon and asked about the replacements, but I still don't understand credits:confused: I will be returning several products and it states on the website that credits are allocated based on my request for a credit and not return of the product. So what do I do about payment? Do I pay my invoice in full? (surely not) Do I pay my invoice minus these credits? I went to the help section and it says that when I place my order it takes these credits into account but I don't want it to come off my next order, I would prefer it to come off this order as it means I have to pay upfront for something I haven't been paid for, does this make sense? Can I also return credits in any box?

I also went to collect my cats yesterday from part of my territory that I haven't covered before and a few customers that ordered last time. I got 6 orders:T and one of them was for £43, she spent £34 last time!!! That takes me to £253.00 for C9 so far and I put out another 20 last night and will put out more tonight. Still have some stragglers to chase up and one customer said she hasn't had a chance to look yet so will post it through my letterbox! Haven't even got my orders from work yet!

I posted a final note to my two customers that haven't responded about their deliveries yet and have given them until the 19th otherwise I will return them to Avon. I have left my home phone number and mobile and I have an answering machine on both, still nothing:confused:

Congrats Karen on having a successful campaign so far:T and Katie on your first campaign, well done:T

I thought the watch would be more popular but it doesn't seem to be in my area. I want one myself so I have to buy more make up to get one, think I have only sold 3 so far. Perfume seems to be a big seller in my area!

Hi, I was going to order some perfume samples to encourage sales, does anyone have some recommendations as to what sells well, there are so many to choose from.
  • I have had a couple of orders for Little Black Dress and I got one for Ungaro this campaign. I also sold 2 Far Away last campaign and one set this time, so I think that sells quite well.

Thanks Melvis - that's a really interesting list. Mind you, some of those uses could put me off putting it anywhere near my skin :p

It should be noted that only the 'soft & fresh' (green) one contains citronella, and therefore is the only one which will work as an insect repellant (personally, i can understand the insects' point of view :D)
