hi everyone new to this but wanted to say hi.
  • Thanks for that blackwidowz.

Got to canvess my new area of 130 houses. I'm doing them on a book behind my other customers to save on the amount of brochures I have to buy. Their first delivery will be 9th Jan. Do you think it is too early to start canvessing?

I would start now as it ain't long and once xmas is here you won't feel like going out much.

    Hi hj29 welcome
  • Hello hj29 :j

R u new to Avon or just to this thread? Everyone is really friendly and helpful :D
  • Just for everyone attention especially Shelley, I've emailed Avon concerning the incentive level and weather it had been lowered for the next couple of campaigns like the commission level and it hasn't. Seems a bit strange that they know people dont buy that much over xmas so lower the commision level but not incentive but hey thats Avon for ya.

(Luckly I just made my incentive level otherwise I was going to order stuff and then send back but sshhh dont tell anyone. ;) )

  • Hi hj29. I'm newish too, just delivering out my first campaign & getting the money in, but totally loving it. Aren't most Avon customers soooo friendly??

Delivered all but 3 orders & I've only had one customer not want an item, but I can't blame her cos another matching item was OOS.

One question. I've done my credit for this item online, it cost £20. When I make a payment do I deduct the £20 for that item, or do I have to pay the whole amount of the invoice & the £20 is credited back to my next invoice?

Hi whoooooooosh I am not 100% sure but I always pay the amount on the invoice because once i was waiting on a cheque to clear and still have £30 outstanding when i placed my next order and avon held my order until i made payment. So now i just pay it in full.

All of my customers are lovely mind you when i get ones that dont pay on time or mess you about paying i just dont go back .

I have just placed my order and really hope it arrives before the 23rd!!!!
  • Just deduct it from the amount you pay, but don't forget that the credit is only for the amount you paid, not the customer price. That should put your balance at zero. Having said that, I got it wrong with a recent one and overpaid slightly (not sure if it was something to do with VAT). Still at least I'm £1.32 in credit for next time.

Not only have I got a few Christmas cards from customers, one also gave me a box of Minstrels! At least so far this year, no-one has given my card back with their brochure :D

    Hi HJ, and welcome
