Have just put my order online and 3 things out of stock ... for 2 of my (new) customers these are the only things they've ordered so they'll be getting nothing :mad:Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

It was emailed out by Avon a few days ago.Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

my computer objects to the avon flyer:rotfl: :rotfl:
first it wouldn't open it either from the e-mail or the website.... (not technical so don't know why...)
then johanne kindly e-mailed it to me in suitable format - guess what - now the printer doesn't like it:mad:
so therefore nobody on my streets is getting the flyer!! what a way to cost save on ink and stuff :rolleyes:it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
Am not bothering with the flyer either, the offers are not good enough to warrant the ink and paper costs, besides which they havent tackled the VAT issue well enough for me to go the extra bit on this one!!
Have delivered half of my c18 orders today and all but 1 £10 order were at home and paid up....YAY.
On the downside I realised that £50 of the order was in fact for me.......and the plan was to MAKE money!! LOLDebt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0 -

Hi Lucy,If you log on and go to the bit that says my orders then drop down to credits and click. Choose the invoice from where your items are from by pressing search next to it. Find the product, change the return quantity to 1 and choose your reason code, carry on for all three if they are on the same invoice then press update which is at the bottom. Press next step, this lists your credits, you can then submit it and you should recieve a confirmation email.
You have then claimed the credit, youmust do this before you return the items, the credit will then be made to your account usually by the next day.
Next click on the my orders and go to order tracking there should be a part saying print returns form click on this and print it out, you'll get two copies.
Pack your products up using a box or padded envelope or even plastic bags. With your Avon invoice you get some carrier labels (usually near the back of your printed sections) Across the middle there is a bar code, underneath this will be your account no followed by 4 digits, these need to be filled in on both of your returns forms (you should see where), put the no of each item you are returning and date your form, put one in the parcel (the one that hasn't got the box at the bottom for the carrier to stamp or sign) and secure the parcel, put the carrier label onto your parcel. All you need to do now is hand your parcel and the second returns form to your carrier they'll sign or stamp the sheet and give it back to you and take the parcel.
Hope that helps, sorry it's so long winded, it's not as difficult as it seems.
Just ask if you need any further help0 -

I had an email with a link to it, but it's also on your homepage on the website - right down at the bottom. I couldn't afford to print it, so sent it as an email attachment to some of my customers. I've sold one of the Homer Simpson mugs, which I'll guarantee is a fixed discount'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Ok so I went back out after tea and collected another 6 books meaning I got 14 books back out of 75  Plus you could tell that most of these had been put out without even been looked at. No orders just the £10 from earlier. Now I'm thinking I really don't think I want to do it again. I didn't expect to make loads (my target was £80 of sales) but I'm actually out of pocket (£15 reg fee + food bags).
Our estate is split into 2 with another rep doing the other half... do you think my ASM will allow me to give the other girl the £10 order? Then write a cheque for £15 and be done with it (I did C18 and C1 at the same time so I've done 2 campaigns).
It's not like me to chuck in the towel but I can just tell its not going to happenI feel like I'm whimping out!

Dont give up!! It seems like Christmas is either a big winner or a big loser as far as Avon goes. 3 whole roads resulted in 1 order for £10 but the 4th one I had about £100 worth of orders! Have your family and friends put in any orders? Or how about people at work etc?
Please dont take the next bit as anything against you!! its really not meant that way just trying to give a reason wht some people may not order!I think a bit of the problem comes from people who give out brochures once and either pick them up and disappear or take orders and never reappear to deliver them. I have just done my second campaign and was shocked by the amout of people who I delivered to that said this! People may be waiting to see if you are going to turn out to be reliable before they order. You are going to be paying for 2 campaigns worth of books in your sign up fee so why not give it a second go, you're not losing anything and you may just get somewhere.
Wishing you all the best whatever you decide to do. XXDebt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0 -
Thanks Tigerlily. Our area has had the same rep for 5 years (she's left the area) so I don't know if this has worked for or against me! She apparently had regular customers and my ASM passed me on their details so I could make sure that they got a brochure. Out of 23 regular customer I only got 5 brochures back so I don't know if they were friends (all her neighbours and kids the same age as hers) with the old rep and now just think they don't want it.
I've already done my 2 campaigns so if I were to do another I would have to pay for my books. I have a friend who's placing an order on Monday and my mums going to get some stuff so I might get to £75.
Will wait til Monday then call her
