Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

PRINCESSLOKI - do you know if you can open "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" file? I think if you have Office you should be able to? But dont quote me on that! If you can PM me your email address and I'll send it across.

I need to go collect some books today and put some last minute ones out... but i cant be bothered!!:o

1. because its cold and icy still
2. because i was up till 3am with the baby and then she woke me up twice again in the night so no matter how much concealer i use i still look like a zombie... *yawn*
3. because before i go i need to put slips in each of the bags with the books saying when i'll be collecting and i have nearly 100 books... :shocked: :shocked:
4. because its only odd houses here and there so lots of walking about as im dropping to the 20ish houses around here that i previously lost books at - well im coming to the end of C1 and will be dropping some of my C18s i have left!! So im not *too* worried if i lose them :rolleyes:
5. because i need to knock and explain to one customer that the brochure said "with replaceable battery" not "with replacement battery".... as she left me a note saying the spare battery wasnt included in her watch... i also need to explain shes asked for a sample of one type of lipstick i cant get a sample of.. how unprofessional am i going to look when i said i had free samples of lipsticks available and to just ask! :rolleyes:
6. because after ive finished all that i have to walk to my mums house and put another 80ish books out. The extra territory was greatly appreciated but i just dont have the energy today to walk up a steep hill for 15 minutes with a baby and 50ish avon books in a buggy! Luckily i had my dad pick up about 30 the other day to save me carrying them up there!:rolleyes: :rotfl:

Hi All, I am new to this blog and new to Avon... i found you by google and am soo pleased there is something here to help me along! I am on my send brochure of Avon.. doing ok but not brilliant as my area is covered by people so relying on friends, family and work colleagues.. any ideas of how to boost customers? I havent managed to look at all the pages on here yet for ideas and tips but I am abit stuck with returns.. I have 3 things to return.. How on earth do I do this?

HELP! :eek:

One of my customers ordered the Anew Clinical Expression Line Filler. I ordered it in C16 backordered to C15. The pump action doesn't work so she's returned it to me wanting a replacement. When I go on the Avon site it's available for credit but not for replacement I can't return it for credit as you got a free gift with it so they'd want that too.

So ... can I order one now from C18 and then when it comes give that to my customer and do a return with the faulty one as a credit pretending it's the one ordered from C18? will that work?

It'll work fine. Usually if you're returning as faulty they don't ask for the freebie back, but I didn't say that

Thanks! I'm still learning ... this is my first time returning anything and I have 2 things to return. I'll order it from C18 then return it just in case

Mostly regular customers, we have 90 we drop a book to every month

Hi... may be sounding a little on the dull side but how do i go about returning something?! I have 3 items to return and have no idea where to start?! Thanks Lucy x

I lied! The offers are of absolutely no use to me cos they're for C1 and I'm only on C18! My C1 doesn't go in til Xmas Eve or some other day equally as insane :mad:

I think im going to cancel being an avon rep, this campaign (18) i onyl made £90 so made just over £10 for myself. It's a shame, i actually do like doing it, i only do it in my workplace as all the roads around where i live have been taken, and they dont order much, may see how it goes and then decide!
Who do i need to tell?
