To be honest, unless you've ripped Avon off in the past it's very rare to get turned down, although they may give a smaller credit limit or ask for a deposit occasionally. Most of the time they credit 'score' based on your postcode, age etc, and very rarely do they actually credit 'check' with the credit reference agencies.
2 weeks seems a long time to get your account number to me, though. Call customer services on the phone tomorrow, or your SL or ASM should be able to give it to you straight away.
bunneycat, sorry, I don't have any. And I never get clearance items, being on mail plan O, i don't even bother trying!
How do you find out which mail plan you are on???0 -

Blackwidowz, well done that's fab! :T
Kat, sorry that it didn't work as well as hoped. I'd heard that worked but had never tried it. I stopped canvassing for orders when I knew I'd be over my own account and Dave's as well.
It's ok, I wasn't getting at anyone, I just felt disappointed because it was my first order and I didn't want to muck it up! Hopefully it is sorted now.My darling boy born December 20110 -
Thanks! I had a spare hour tonight so have bagged up most of C15 to deliver on Saturday (ran out of bags  but order forms are in the remaining books ready to bag tomorrow!)
Road 1 is in 2 parts (odds/evens)
Road 2 is in 5 groups of about 20 houses each (as there's over 100 houses and I'm only doing numbers 80- 188!)
Tonight I delivered C14 to Road 2 group 2
Tomorrow I collect Road 2 group 1 (C14) and deliver Road 2 group 3
Saturday: Deliver orders. Collect C14 from R2 G2 and R2 G3 and deliver C15 to R1 Evens
Sunday: Deliver R2 G4 and R2 G5 (C14)
Then I'm on hoilday in Newquay for 5 days :j
Phew! My organisation is scaring me! OH has passed out on the sofa it's all too much for him :rotfl:
Whoever asked about deliveries whilst working full time .... my first delivery is this week but OH will be in to collect it.
I have sorted out at work doing my full time hours over 4 days instead of 5 and Friday will be my Day off on my delivery weeks :T But I do have my shed down as a place to leave deliveries if I'm out.
Wow, I feel tired reading that!
I need to come up with a plan, coz I have bits of roads on one campaign and bits on another, I need to make it so one half of road is on one and the other is on the next campaign, I also have odds and evens as separate roads, I have evens on c15 and odds on c14, problem is I don't have enough c15 brochures to get through the road very quickly, nevermind. I am going to come up with a plan though.
Also, I was inspired by elliebee who sent me a pm with details of a slip she gives to customers, but with a little tweak. I thought I would but a slip through the door of my customers - (9 customers this campaign) about 5 days before I am due to delivery there goods, saying something like; Thanks for ordering, your avon goods will be delivered on Tuesday 30th Sept between 5-7pm, your order total is £....
(correct money is helpful). If you would like to arrange a different time or day for delivery please give me a call on ..... or email me at ......
I'm hoping by putting that through the door I should get them all in, and all paid for, perhaps wishful thinking but I'm hoping this will be helpful.
