Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I had my first rude person this morning I delivered my brochures on Thurs with a very big clear sign on the front saying to leave them out today and a section to tick if they dont want to receive any more. So I go to this house, its 11am and there is no book outside I can see people in the lounge so ring the bell and a man answers.
Me - Hello, I'm sorry to bother you but i've come for your Avon brochure
Him - WHAT?
Me - Your Avon brochure, i've come to collect it.
Him - We don't have that trash in this house
Me - Well can I have my brochure?
Him - Its thrown away like the rubbish it is.
and slams the door in my face:mad: I don't understand why he had to be quite so rude, if he didnt want the brochure all he had to do was leave it out & tick the box

I ordered some bags and labels a few months back when I started. I can't find anything on my computer where I bought them from. Someone on here recommended somehwere and it had boxes or something in the name. Anyone any ideas. Been trawling for ages and feeling sick looking at the screen. Had a flu jab and pneumonia jab and feeling like death today and I need to order stuff for putting out next week.

I had a moan earlier in the week about ordering an additional order on camp 17. Will never do that again it was a total waste of time and energy. Ordered on 8th November and delivered on the 20th . I would have been as well waiting and putting it in with my order on Friday 20th I would have gotten it on 25th. The carrier really p****d me about it was coming every day. Not a big order but it was important as I had done a drop of cat and picked up new customers. When it was finally deliverd on Friday 20th while I was at chool picking up kids it was obvious it had been lying about in the back of a van for ages as a lot of the packing was damp as was the invoices etc. Bubble baths felt like they had condensation on them. A bunch of liars the lot of them why they couldn't just admit it was forgotten about and apologise rather than blame every one else.
Two of the new customers were old Avon reps who had given up because they were fed up being mucked about by couriers and deliveries turning up late. Gosh I can't wait to see what fiasco it will be like at Xmas.
Asked my ASM if I could place my order a week early and have her release it as my hubby is fed up of it arriving late at night and lying about for 5 days before I can deliver cos it arrives so late on Wednesday I don't have time to sort etc to deliver on Thursday.
Apparently not .
Thing is I am not insured for any of the stuff household insurance won't cover it so am not able to have it delivered and left in garage.

why don't you email Avon directly and ask if the courier could not deliver earlier, explain nicely that last delivery was spoilt and is it possible to release next order early.

As much as some of us have trouble with avon deliveries, items missing, extra items, etc. it can't be completely bad, otherwise Avon would not still be in business.

thanks thats what i thought but on my 'view order' page it says 'Bumper Box - Regular Size (£15 balance per box charged next campaign)' and on the subtotal page its nowhere to be found.

its not a major thing but im buying it out of my earnings so if im not charged this time for it then i can get some more xmas pressies lol

Thanks Aureol that was exactly the place I wanted and couldn't find. I tried speaking to my ASM about delivery she gets hers first thing in the morning I asked if half the year where she is 12 miles away if they could get theirs first for 6 months then second the next to make things fairer. All she could say was we weren't meant to get our delivery till Thursday and that delivery was over 3 days. My prev rep has said she has always had hers on a wed for 16 years and that it used to come during the day until new courier. I just feel it isn't fair that one half continually get theirs in the morning and that we pleps get ours when we get it. Next one is last one for Xmas and I suspect I might not get mine at all on the wednesday if they are busy . My first delivery almost never came they had intended not to delivery till Thursday but I kicked up a stink and it was deliverd on Wed eventually. Next one my old rep took in and there was a box missing which arrived a week later. 3rd came eventually and additional order came via slow boat from China.
Thing is I appreciate that they will be busy but after all they are being paid to deliver a service and should have enough vans drivers etc .
If by chance my order doesn't come on Wed it will be my last and I will not be handing over list of customers to my ASM.
Has anyone had an order released early and delivered .
Don't get me wrong I love doing this and you get out what you put into it but I have another life outside Avon.
