I wouldn't take this for granted: if the recent npower increases for their online tariffs are anything to go by there's no reason why BG shouldn't raise Click 5 to be just a tad below their standard tariffs, making the percentage increase much bigger than recent headlines suggest.

It looks like the days of online tariffs being much cheaper are over.

That would eliminate their 'get out of jail' card when a punter tells them they are leaving, though. You may be right, of course, only time will tell. Hmmm...staying with appalling BG when I'm no better off financially, how does that work then.

I signed my daughter up online to Click 5 last week (she was paying standard tariff on BG) but she has heard nothing about it only a confirmation of her sign in name and pw for the website, do you get anything to say that you are now signed up to the tariff and if so approx how long does it take, she is already a BG customer, also do they remind you when to read your meter? Thanks
