And spot the patches of rich people who are 'not affected'
    ...Linda xx

Oh I seem to live in one of those areas lol Not sure who isn't affected but there is a lot of young people with lots of money living in the area who think nothing of paying in excess of 300k for flats.. I however have lived in the area since I was born when it was classed as a bit scummy could never ever afford to buy as much as a matchbox!! Thank goodness for social housing otherwise I would still be living at my mums!

I'm almost scared to admit that as a child I couldn't abide chocolate apart from Minstrells or Smarties (the ones that had a hard shell). Instead I loved boiled sweets like fox's glacier fruits and would happily crunch my teeth on those until long after the cows had come home:D!

If I could pick the chocolate off the curly wurly's I'd eat those too or Walnut Whips - I'd eat the walnut, then break open the chocolate shell and eat the white whip stuff

    Cat, that's just plain weird

Kind of off chocolate at the minute though:confused: makes me feel a bit sick after 1 piece. How unfair is it to be pregnant and not able to eat chocolate!?:p

I let DD do the shopping on line today. As I will be on holiday:beer: and she will be eating whats in... She spent £135 on crap!:rotfl: twix's five pack, twix's nine pack, jammie dodgers, cup a soup, bob the builder shapes (she's 18!) - there is not one bit of 'real' food on the list except for - carrots!

Not sure what she is going to do with those, unless she bought them for the rabbit.....:rotfl: Oh well, at least I didn't have to do the shopping myself but I will have to teach her to be a bit more MSE!!!!

  • Back my face has been exfoliated and buffed within an inch of its life!! I failed to come up with an anwer to- What is your daily skin care routine - oops!!

The hairdresser I booked cancelled me so wandered off to Toni & Guy - who wonderfully fitted me and the girl I had was so lovely and cut my hair really nicely I nearly cried - blamed it on my hormones!!!!

So actually had a nice day - kinda odd doing stuff all for me!!

Hope everyone else has had a good day and not fallen down any black holes - though Elderflower has just told me that we wont feel the effects till 21st October!

  • When I was pregnant my cravings were for birthday cake and cans of coke. I one broke down in tears because Ste went to the shop and brought back a bottle of coke instead of a can!

That's it - I'm moving in with you!!!!

Maz - at the moment, I need all 3 incomes. AQA is as guaranteed as I want it - I have to log in once a month just to keep the account active and the busiest times are the weekends - some afternoons are literally dead, but saturday and sunday afternoons (and Friday nights) are mega busy and that's the time to be working.

The teaching is going to (roughly) bring me in an extra £150 a month after tax and NI (I think, possibly a bit less) and it's only until March when I will go back to 2 incomes. I don't want to teach from April to July because I've been told I can do a unit of the teaching qualification then and I don't want to be doing both at the same time - definite overload if I do!

Right, list is done apart from quick dust. Sod it, it's hardly thick with the stuff :rotfl: bit of a pain she is coming whilst it's still light though, low lighting when it gets dark hides a multitude of sins!

Potatoes par boiled, chicken sliced and breadcrumbed. Going to get a quick shower then start the layered dip, stick nibbly bits in bowls and getting stuff into the oven. Might pop out for a bottle of wine if I get the chance, she is going to be cycling so I should get it all to myself and she can have the juice I've bought (which feels VERY luxurious - buying juice - how very posh!!) :rotfl:
