E: 01/09 Win An Agent Provocateur Ltd Edition Print (help) (merged)

Hi lorweld! :hello:
I've looked into it some more and i'm not sure they should be merged, as it's for a different prize.
The one posted earlier was for a print to be won by solving one puzzle. This one is for a main prize which can be won only with the 4 correct answers.
I so wish i was able to post a link to the prize!
It can be found by clicking on "magazine" when on AP website, and it's on page 6.

I'm not sure about the Rum one... but that is probably me being slow! What is all this about 7 keys?
Classical ones (last 2) are pretty clear, first two are baffling!0 -

For 7 locks there are 7 keys - I can only find 6 ordinary lock keys but is there another one? Is the 8th key a musical key (special one) as printed on the Mandolin that "unlocks the pirate shanty song"? Is that a Mandolin and is that the word required?
Can't see any logic for RUM.
I agree with annaka's reasoning for SKULL0 -

I have found all the 7 keys (they are all quite fake looking!:D)
My logic behind the answer being Rum (besides the fact that it's as fake looking as the keys are;) ) is the Pirates Song...
"Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle Of Rum"...
RUM being the eighth word.
However your Mandolin idea is making sense to me too...0 -

Mmmmm seems to be a bit vague and no real connection to keys which are the main theme of the clue.
And that is certainly a Key on the Mandolin, I'm sure someone musical can confirm which one.0 -

Someone musical just confirmed that the key written on the Mandolin is E-flat major.
I'm still not convinced that this is the answer... as all the other answers are really simple in comparison.0 -

Have they confirmed it is a Mandolin as well?
It all seems to fit the clue so well and I wouldn't say it's much more complicated than the witches. Looks like it's gonna be a matter of personal choice on this one.0 -
I went with mandolin but it really was a case of eeny meeny miny mo I would have gone either way. Not holding my breath on winning this one - can't believe you guys got the other answers. My brain was fried just reading the questions!:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0

Sorry about the link with Naples just got this
Quote "Little did I know that the episode of the Sirens took place in these waters. There are tiny rocks sticking up out of the water on the Amalfi side of the Sorrentine peninsla named for those very Sirens that tempted Ulysses. One of the Sirens, Parthenope, threw herself into the sea out of despair over what she believed to be her lack of allure, and her body washed up on the coast a few miles away at the spot where mythology says the city of Neapolis (Naples) was founded. Actually, that would be the city of Parthenope, which then became Neapolis; indeed, modern Neaplotans still refer to themselves commonly as "Parthenopeans". Unquote - taken from © 2002-2009 Jeff Matthews
but I don't know if they want the old name or the new name"We all change when you think about it. We're all different all through our lives. And that's okay, that's good. You've got to keeping moving. As long as you remember all the people that you used to be." - The Doctor0 -
Thanks for all your help prozacspice!
What i did is just entered with all plausible options... as it says one "can enter as many times as they like". So i suppose as long as one of those answers is correct... the game is on!0
