in Credit cards
I got refused for an Amazon card, I really want the £15 off. I have got my credit report from Experian and can't see anything adverse at all. I pay off credit cards on time and have cancelled most of them now.
Is there anything I can do?

I've just got my first Credit Card statement from Amazon.I have not received my 1500 points voucher e.mail yet.The statement says it has been redeemed
Does anyone know if that means it is on its way? I expected the voucher before this.0 -
It sounds to me, jimmyt, that your voucher has already been emailed elsewhere and used.2 entries found for redeemed.

I received my Amazon Card today but there was no mention of the £15 voucher due following the occasion of the first spend. The benefits only refer to the 1 point for every £1 spent at Amazon.
Is this normal?0 -
JimmyT - exactly the same thing has happened to me - got my statement through the post today and it says that my 1500 loyalty points have already been redeemed even though I haven't used them or received any voucher. Any developments on your front or from anyone else?
Thanks.0 -

Perhaps you didn't reach the required credit score and profile that Halifax have set for this product? People tend to get hung up on the fact that if they are declined there must be something wrong with their credit history. This is not always the case. Each provider sets a profile and credit score for the type of customer they are looking for which is specific to that provider. It may just be that you didn't pass the threshold that they are looking for.0 -
