Nothing special, in fact would expect a first gen i3 to be cheaper than that. Look out for the second gen i processors, they have a 4 digit model number, eg i3-2380

Looking at this one to replace my daughters old lappy.... she will be no doubt looking to download music, chat and cam skype etc. School work is priority. She does not o any online games. Will use Iplayer etc.

What age is your daughter, how long is she likely to use it before wanted a new/upgraded one?

If she's gonna want to use it for a few years the second one wins by a country mile, and I wouldn't expect them to be there for very long either so don't take too long deciding

Price doesn't look at all attractive to me from here.

It's a Tosh, with an (albeit first gen) i3 and dedicated graphics for £349. But your entitled to your opinion

With a closer look, perhaps it's on the money. Though it would certainly help if you were looking for a laptop with dedicated graphics.

Buy it first and think about it later.

This Toshiba may be better value (new, also from Ebuyer).

I'm not an expert on photoshop but a. I don't believe dedicasted graphics will help and b. the more memory and processing power the better.

Compares so much better than the Toshiba I found in Pcworld.

Ebuyer itself has it for £369 and ebuyer express (through ebay) for 349. Is there a difference in service/ warranty?
