Looking at this one to replace my daughters old lappy.... she will be no doubt looking to download music, chat and cam skype etc. School work is priority. She does not o any online games. Will use Iplayer etc.

If she's gonna want to use it for a few years the second one wins by a country mile, and I wouldn't expect them to be there for very long either so don't take too long deciding0 -

It's a Tosh, with an (albeit first gen) i3 and dedicated graphics for £349. But your entitled to your opinion
With a closer look, perhaps it's on the money. Though it would certainly help if you were looking for a laptop with dedicated graphics.
Buy it first and think about it later.0 -

I'm not an expert on photoshop but a. I don't believe dedicasted graphics will help and b. the more memory and processing power the better.If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -

Compares so much better than the Toshiba I found in Pcworld.
