I'm back after a lovely weekend
We went strawberry picking and there's 2 gallons of strawberry wine being made in the shed and a bowl to be made into jam and another bowl to eat. yum. Also picked up some asparagus and rhubard
I sat outside prepping all the fruit while DH and friend watched the footie. I'm not a fan and even though England are out now I'll still have to deal with Holland  urgh.
You may not remember but I mentioned a while ago that DH was doing overtime - he gets paid for it this week!£2000 over his normal pay :T The car's MOT has to be paid out of that and breakdown cover but isn't it good!
We've definitely overspent on food this month esp with father's day and DH buying copious amounts of juice to make cider. (We tried cheaper juice and it just doesn't taste the same)
Phew, its steaming at work again... I'm going to go and stand in front of a fanCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I'm at the excited stage atm but I'm sure when it happens I'll be a nervous wreck!
Been advised to cut down on the amount of caffine I drink8-10 cups a day so I'll be buying decaffinated and slowly reducing my intake.
Apparently alchol should be reduced too...but I think i'll get the hen party out of the way first! Its this weekend! I'm very excited and started packing last night (need to reduce the pile by half and then half again) The boys have their stag this wekend too and they sound soo mean!
Strawberry beer sound sinteresting RadishI had a look at recipes but we don't have the space atm.
When you find that beer, cider, perry & wine festival will you let me know?I went to the Good Food Show last year hoping to try loads of cider and wine but was a bit disapointed to be honest. The Malvern Garden show was good as me and Mum chatted up the cider seller who ended up giving us the left over 'not quite empty' bottles at the end!

Back from the hen weekend
Had a great time and spent a trillion squillion squids.
But I just transferred £2000 to the Dad Debt so I don't feel too guilty
The strawberry has now been racked into the demijohns, it actually tasted quite nice but very strong so I've watered it down to make it go further.
Got to tidy the house when we get home and jump on the Wii to get back into a healthy habit.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Sleepy SmlSave reporting in
Saw Get him to the Greek last night which did make me laugh and cringe in equal amounts. Spent £2.10 on a coke as I was soo thirsty!
Have worked out that the £43 which has been going into the hen/bus fund can now be used to clear the cc (my trillion squillion £) and thereafter put into savings.
My Xmas fund is full at the desired £300 :T and there's £300 in the holiday fund tooJust £160 to save for the cinema pass now.
I've also almost got £300 in an emergancy account for just in case.
I'm going to buy a new compost bin for the garden as just having one isn't working. I'm going for a wooden beehive one for a bit of 'pretty'
Going to have a look at the joint finances now and am promising myself an early nightCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
