i am in the same position craggy, i have just checked the warm front website and applied online. It says that your landlord must agree, and must not put up the price for 1 or 2 years depending on what grant is given.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
  • Thanks jordylass - Have done the same, and informed the landlord to expect a call.Hope there pretty quick but 1 suspects it will be after Christmas now.

Talking of insulation, has anyone got an idea of the cheapest and best type of flooring for the loft? Have tried finding some on the internet, without success.

    Many thanks.

I fitted some Kingspan 2 years ago and we just had warnfront around last week to look at replacing our boiler. He did a energy check and said that the Kingspan is one of the best, and that the stuff they lay couldn't touch it. Although we have mineral wool between the joists, along with it boarded up and Kingspan on the roof slates leaving a gap for air to circulate. Its still cold this house and loft is bitterly cold.
