Best PAYG deal for texts?

Hello there, I'm new to this forum. Apologies if this is covered in a different thread.

I text a bit, not sure how much but less than 100 per month, and make calls on my mobile very rarely. I text a variety of networks. At the mo I'm on the Orange PAYG Dolphin plan, where you get 300 free texts if you top up by £10 per month. Thing is, I don't normally need the £10 per month of credit if I get the free texts and the free texts don't carry over to the next month. So I was wondering if anyone could suggest a better plan for me, maybe one where the texts are carried over, or whatever people would suggest. Free answer phone would be a bonus, but not important.

Tmobile do 3p texts on their text appeal plan. Although not detailed on thier website, I am told you can migrate onto this PAYG plan once you join them.

Asda Mobile piggybacks on the Vodaphone network and is 8p a minute for calls and 4p per text !

Yes T-Mobile have a 3p text,tarriff so you can just top up £5, you nca change your plan over to mates rates (which is cheap for calling T-Mobile to T-Mobile phones) or everyone which works out cheap if you call other networks. The only issue with is from past experences is that its difficult to change tarriffs as there system always seems to be down and once confirmed that you have changed tarrif you have to double check as sometimes it hasnt done it.

Yes, asda mobile would work out at £4 a month for 100 texts and no calls. They charge for answer phone though.

Anyone know of a way to get free sim cards with these networks?

I think orange are good. you top up £10.00 a month and you get 300 free texts (the £10.00 stays on your phone) top up £20.00 you get 600 free texts. top up £30.00 you get unlimited..

You also get 2for1 on a wednesday for the cinema and magic nos where you can call another orange mobile for up to an hour for 20p
