  • Now the bully will know which kid he should pick on as he will be the one wearing the blue wristband :-/
  • Great freebie mikey, thanx :) ::)

    Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

    You're correct Ziceman. Anything that creates awarness about bullying is worth while and hopefully it will spark off classroom discussion up and down the country. However, the wearing of a blue band will not stamp out bullying in itself, but the support given to the victim that such an scheme will provide may prevent the problem escalating to a harmfull level.

    Plus who am I to argue with a 6'3" 17st man (I'll get my Dad onto you as he is bigger)

    This is just a complete copy of the lance armstrong bands!

    Still its quite good like, has anybody got 1 of those 'Livestrong' bands??
  • noticed the same thing happening about these bands on 'another site' ::)

    surely anything that tries to raise awareness of bullying and make it even slightly easier for kids to speak out is a good thing and a step in the right direction?

    and yes i was bullied terribly at school watched my daughter go through it too, and as a teacher am also very pro anything that tries to help

    so dont moan about it - wear the blessed thing and give it a go!!

    (stays on soap box cos it lifts me above my usual 4ft11)
