We took the car last year to disneyland it was no problem. Motorway all the way there uptil the last 10-15 mins. The trip from calais was about 2 hours. We did have a sat nav which was a good help. We stayed at the holiday inn which we booked from their web to get the best price that time. We bought the park tickets online but I cannot remember what the site was called but I found it here. The whole trip ferry, petrol hotel and 3 night / 4 days was £800 . We satayed in a travel lodge next to dover the night before our sailing so we were not tired from our journey from warrington. No worries to do the car trip again...

They have a box on the seafrance page which says ....1p crossings found so far today. But it remained blank all of yesterday! People were finding the 1p crossings throughout the day yesterday. I'm not sure when the 100 are refreshed, but I suspect it is at midnight each day because I was up at about 3.00am this morning and it was a piece of cake to find 1p crossings/2p returns. That would suggest that just after midnight or as early as possible are the best times to pick up the dates/times closest to what you want.
  • Just a FYI, if you select Motorhome or Caravan, you don't get these deals.

Still, £60 return isn't bad if you want to go for a week! Peak season it's normally silly money.
The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
  • grrrr how annoying i have managed to find a 1p fare but can't find one for the return leg :(
