just spoke to Mum she was up visiting last night and the surgeon said they will set the ball rolling to get him out asap:o so I am guessing they really do mean days.

We knew it was coming but didnt think it would be so soon....he really has had a tough time of it.
But I am glad he is fighting until the bitter end:cool:

    morning everyone

fed up already :( he's left for work this morning with the ar*e on...probably cos all I wanted to do last night was go to sleep, how dare I?

Want to apply for some jobs but that div tidied up yesterday and cant find any of my paperwork, he then used that as an excuse to moan constantly all last night and this morning before he left.

And now of course i'm on here and i'll be accused of sitting on my bum doing nothing all day when what I should be doing is scubbing the floors!

    Men....more hassle than they're worth

Well done on the running Snaggs. I would love to run but DH says I'm too fat

That's nice and supportive of him!

If you want to do it you should give it a go. It'll be hard work to start with but he'll have to retract when he sees the results. If you want to start set yourself a little programme where you walk for say 10 minutes, jog for 5 minutes (or as long as you can manage up to 5 minutes) walk 10, jog 5 and gradually shift the timings so you start to jog more and walk less until you can jog for 30mins solid. It may be on day 1 that you walk 29 minutes and jog for 1 but you'll improve quickly if you're consistent. I love the 'head time' I get when running even if I just use to think through a meal plan or what I need to get done for the day.

I'm planning getting straight back into it as soon as I can once Bean is on the outside:p Couple days should be enough right?

I am fat, trust me :D Way too many wobbly bits that would bounce if I ran anywhere :o
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Yum! I don't bake very often as it doesn't last more than the day I make it

  • Morning all

BIG BIG hugs to all that they need them.

Nothing much to report this end tbh. Still absolutely cream crackered but my lovely nurse practitioner says that is completely normal and to rest when I feel that I need it - no more need be said :)

Did we ever find out what Gemzzie went and had done last week?
