  • Thanks CPG for the new thread!

Just in case my q on the last thread gets lost, coventry bootsers, which are the best stores to hit? TIA :D

I was at The Precinct store yesterday and it was a bit poor to be honest. No TD or sanctury wipes. Some (not loads) of TD exfoliator, toner and sanc. masks. Er...... oh, there were quite a few of the mens TD face washes. Not much for the pinkies either - no R&M bags at all. Some bits on the accessories stand - R&M sponges (£5), No7 Gloves (£5) and a couple of other bits (No7 make up sponges and exfoliating sponges).

Clearance a bit poor (on the first floor, towards the back, by the mens stuff) - some ted baker body lotions (£2.50), some Naked skincare candles (£2.50) and a few bits of reduced 17 eye-shadows.

Tip from me: go to the tills downstairs, by the baby section, the SAs on there are lovely and don't mind handfuls of vouchers at all :D They're also more than happy to accept mitchum vouchers (although these, for me anyway, have always had to be inputted manually).

No mags at all to be seen in the last few days, old or new. They told me yesterday the old ones had been taken back and they were waiting on the new ones to be delivered.

    HTH :)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

    Hi Fellow Bootsers

Thank you CPG for a shiny new thread. I'm finding it funny, every time I log on, it has moved on a zillion pages or a shiny new thread.

I am after a favour. Does anyone shop at any of the Boots on the 1st page and if so, do they have Ipods in stock and how much are they please?

Gutted is not the word.... my DH left his rucksack at Marylebone Station yesterday with his umbrella and Ipod in it. We got him this 2nd Ipod for Father's Day, so it was a gift from DS. He lost his first Ipod which I bought him last year for his birthday on the train. He left it in a bag on the luggage rack and when he got off the train forgot to take his bag with him. They handed the bag into lost property minus ipod.

So if anyone could advise, would be most grateful. I know might be able to get it cheaper somewhere else but got the last one using Amazon vouchers i had won, and selling stuff on ebay. Can't afford to buy another one.

Do you think the electrical voucher might work with these? Or do you think they might be reduced for xmas?

Thank you everyone, yours very sad aureol

I have just seen on another thread on MSE - I don't know where but there is an Apple Refurbishment shop which sells reconditioned ipods. new parts etc, all guareenteed but cheaper than a brand new one.

I used my last 9 yesterday, thanlfully the store I went to had plenty of £4.XX items. SA wasn't bothered at all when i said I would need to do 9 seperate transactions. In the middle of them all I got a survey which I completed last night as said how nice the SA was.
