My objection (and it seems by some posts that I'm not alone on this) is to the chat that has nothing to do with Boots.
A particular favourite is the "I have sent you a PM." message. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
hiya just been to boots. wanted to get the new mascara and free gwp but bit broke so will have to wait til pay-day. i went to acm and they only giving me 100 points for the mascara when i heard other peeps on here get 250? wonder how they decide who gets what?
anyway today i got
FCUK mens face scrub - £5
FCUK mens toiletry bag - £0 (free with above)
boots smile toothpaste - 99p

total: £6.98 gained 274pts
i used 50points from acm when you buy boots smile (this beeped for some reason when SA tried to scan so she said she would have to put it through maually after - which she did but instead of 50pts she gave 100 - nice SA)
and i used 150 pts in Glamour mag for aussie hair care - there is no min spend for this - i got the 99p sachet and went through no probsMoney-Saving Challenge: total of £3000 needed by May next year  Total so far: £450

I love the make up pictures mrsbluebear, and because we're all buying the same things they are a little bit on topic ... aren't they ...
I do find all the glittery 'goodnight' etc pictures a bit irritating to download - maybe there could be a bit less of that
Sanctuary lady with the voucher to get a free shower product when you bought a body butter from the new ranges (which is also on 3 for 2 so in effect the voucher gets you 3 for 1 on those 3 smells) was back in Meadowhall today. While her back was turned I snaffled a few extra vouchers so PM me if you would like one.0 -

So what would happen if you got three shower products...would you still only pay for one? or if you got 2 body lotions and one shower item....would the 342 not take off the shower gel anyways? I'm sure how this one works but think they'd be great items for my xmas baskets *smiles*
ETA: I just wondered as the shower plunge is £5.45 on .com and the body butter £7.95.....so if you got 2 butters and a shower plunge...the shower plunge would be free anyways as its on 342...without the voucher...so would you have to get 3 shower plunges iyswim?Treasurer and Co Founder of - The Smile It Won't Hurt Club

Quite a lot of old style Time Delay stuff cheap, and a couple of people wandering round with tiny samples - Colgate and clinique foundation.0 -
Ok my two-penneth...
I really don’t want to see the chat; and pics in this thread banned. I really enjoy reading about peoples experiences and seeing the pics of people’s stashes. I don’t have the time or money to go to Boots much more than once every couple of weeks so enjoy shopping vicariously through everyone else. Sad huh. No one to go with either but that’s a whole different story
To be honest for me the glitches are only part of this thread. Being able to ask questions and getting an answer about a how; why or where makes this thread what it is. Everyone is really friendly and happy to answer anything regardless of whether it’s been asked before. I like the fact that people swap vouchers with each other; and offer to get stuff for others. Its a proper community type feel.
Ok certain things get annoying; the sparkly good nights or repeated quoting of peoples pics but to be honest i just scan through it. Also maybe something’s would be better in PM’s (“vouchers are in the post” /” thank you” type things) I don’t post that much generally because I’m a bit of a wuss and it takes me ages to pluck up the nerve to join in a chat. But i will post any bargains or answer any questions i can.
And I completely support KJ1980’s decision last night – no one has the right to be told anything by anyone else. Surely we should be thanking her for sharing not having a go??? And if she chooses to reveal some more than others – that’s her decision. And in this case in think the eventual result showed she did have reason.
How long someone has been a member or their post count in irrelevant- it makes their opinion no less valid. And referring to how it used to be in a quasi-superior way is annoying. Change is good. Fresh blood should also be welcomed and this thread has an nice mix of everything.
Anyways please stop bickering – its a Saturday and i really want to see some shopping lists. :-)I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -

I've been getting one body butter and 2 shower thingies as I've got a LOT of body butters in my stash anyway. I'm not sure what would happen with 2 body butters.0
