Think I would take the two incomplete packs to a SA and explain what I wanted to do and get her to do it for me - either that or ask for a reduction for it being incomplete. I wouldn't make the switch myself in case they accused me of stealing cos I think it could look suspicious.

When Boots discover the other incomplete items they would either reduce them because they were incomplete or sell the component parts separately anyway

ok.................going in to town today and have 3 no 7 till spits and a £5 pc voucher to use.No pinkies because Peterborough was a pinkie- free zone!
I also have 2 17 vouchers .I have nearly £100 in points as well and am wondering whether to spend some (don't want them nicked by Mr B- although all have been obtained legally i think) .Wht is it I am so reluctant to spend them? Are we all like this ?
Do we think the Christmas stuff will be out today (sure I saw a post about staff getting it ready yesterday)?

I was a lurker on this thread for quite a while, mainly because i didn't have any glitches or codes to share! (not very lucky me).
I have contributed where i think i can help or advise.
You really can't lump all the lurkers together, i for one have never felt the need to got out and purchase a ton of stuff in boots just to get something for nothing or loads of points (which boots get back in the long run) I use this forum and this site to do what it was purely set up to do..... save money.

BhamDave is a regular use of this site. He and I used to keep post 1 & 2 updated re the glitches and Boots information.
I do agree with him about the chat, lots of people have even complained about it on here lately. I'm all for the friendliness of this thread, it is the best on mse.... but somedays the unrelated chat gets out of hand.:eek:

Possible glitch? (Not tried yet !!!)

Ok guys n gals ! Have just popped to my local to try the 17 email voucher combo and I think there 'could' be a possible glitch although I've not tried it - I might pop back later once shift change has happened !

I'll start by telling you what I bought - it might make it easier to explain what I think could happen.

17 Trio Eyeshadow - £4.99 (thought this was £2.50 ! lol never mind :rolleyes: )
17 Sheer moisture lipstick - £0.00 (used email voucher)
17 Eye Dazzle - £0.00 (free wys £3 on 17 - still active in my store !)
17 Liquid Eyelinger - £3.79
17 Trio Eyeshadow - £2.50
17 PD eyeliner - £0.00 (free on 342)

Total was £11-odd and saved £10-odd. (Will be going up for Xmas for DDs 1 and 2 so not money wasted trying to find a glitch )




So, I'm thinking ...........

Buy 1 Sheer Moisture lipstick (the email voucher one)
Buy 2 Eye dazzle

Possibly could take off one of the eye dazzles as on 342, then take the other one off as it's free wys £3 (the lipstick) and then hand over the lipstick voucher to have tht taken off to??? You might like to disguise this with other goods if you are going to try it !

Damn,I wish I had worked this out in the store instead of in the car on the way home ! lol

Just to clarify, I haven't done this and it may not work, but there's a small chance that it would !!?? Maybe some of the expert bootsers could clarify if they think it would work too - or if they can see a flaw in my plan ! lol

Also, the voucher did not scan, had to be entered manually. Did have the 'cannot be used' excuse but I asked SA to try and she did and it went through so fill your boots ladies ! lol

Will report back as soon as I can get there after shift change and I know that it works !

Money is very very tight at the mo, and off topic ( Hotpoint have a factory returns shop in Peterborough for about 1/2 price white goods - PM for details). I personally think the thread is very friendly - Many people kindly swapped/sold there excessive nail file collections from the previous glitch to me, for DD to use in collage. These are people ive never met, so to be able to trade with relative strangers is amazing.

I do have some vouchers to spare - please PM if you NEED them, could swap??
