Someone did post (I think it might even have been on the previous thread, although it was only about a week ago) about Hairbrushes in Boots being reduced - but I cannot find the details.
I have just waded through 90 odd pages of gliche/what gliche/lets guess the gliche/ why-am-I-not-told-the-gliche etc posts, and cannot find any mention of hairbrushes - So if some kind soul could let me know which make/range it was ?
I visited the Fosse Park store today, and there are loads of different 'makes' but none had any reduced prices - and I couldn't take them all to a till to price check !!
Many thanks in advance for any information,
and by the way, my youngest is 16, and I have never sold a single thing on ebay in my life.......but then why should you believe me ?;)
Hi Stoopid (gosh that sounds rude!)
I got a Boots "Naturals" hairbrush reduced a week or so ago-on normal clearnace but they had all gone in a couple of hours as were very cheap-I got a paddle brush for £1 down from about £6 I think-so if you do find some, probably a good idea to buy sooner than later!
the one I bought was pale wood with cream plastic bristley bit (if that makes sense!)
hope this helpsRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -

hi there
This is my first Boots post. I guess you could call me a 'lurker' - except i'm not. Have been reading this forum for months now and been a boots money saver before that for ages. I love this site and agree with you Melon78. I have a young baby and find it hard keeping up with reading all the posts, let alone posting anything myself.
Well, that's changing as of now. This is my first Boots post. Hi everyone!
I guess I might be called a lurker also - the thing is I don't like to talk about nothing, I prefer to share tips/glitches and am doing so (I found some nice parenting club vouchers combinations a while ago and gladly shared with you all). I don't have time to read every post - I'm mum, wife and don't spend all my time in front of computer. I try to keep this thread clear of my unimportant and unurgent matters, so only post when I have spare vouchers or want to ask advice/vouchers/magazines when I can't get them myself.
Please don't get me wrong - I understand that not everyone is like me and loves to share their tips about make-up, thoughts about life or even their private life. But I prefer read just glitches/tips (shame, not all of them are on 1st post, so I have to read all posts).
I'm on this thread for 2 years now and saw that something really changed. Most of you are still very warm and friendly, but.. I remember one post when one of us (I guess you call her regular, not lurker!) wrote about her trip to Boots. She ordered xx (can't remember) pictures and tried to 'pay' with magazine's vouchers. When SA refused pointing at t&c's that one voucher per person, MSEr (shame on us!) arrogantly asked: scan her pictures in separate transactions of 5's to use vouchers, or she won't take her pictures at all!!! OMG, where are we going??? Taking 20 magazines just because of vouchers and then throwing them away isn't green - just greedy. Try to imagine what SAs might think about such customers. No wonder Boots canceled lots of advantage cards.
No wonder no one PMed me with newest glitch.
But I'm still waiting :A0 -
Woo Hoo! Finally caught up! Haven't read the thread for ages but just wanted to say hello to everyone and well done kj for only telling those who needed the glitch about it! I think its kind of evryone who posts glitches, offers etc and when i first joined mse back in May i got some fab bargins from boots when people where kind enough to pm with the locations of my local clearence stands, bargins etc. So now christmas is coming i shall have to see what bargins i can get! I usually buy tons of presents from boots and an annual highlight of mine is the christmas catalogue coming out! (sad i know!) So big question....
What date does it come out? I know its usually out the start of October but if anyone knows the exact date i'd be most grateful!
Phew that turned in to a longer post than i realised (sorry!) and its way late so goodnight!
Oh and mrsbb your make up looks amazing! I found a till split fo r£5 of no7 at the bottom of my handbag so giess what i'm off to get! Yep new mascara and eye pallate!0 -
Finally caught up, shame Huggies newborn is sold out, but bought some Huggies Preemies (code 10079111), £1.75 each after code, I would say very good price anyway! My elder sister is pregnant with her first baby, and two friends are due in 2 and 4 weeks, so will help them a bit with nappy cakes.
However, Preemies are quite small (up to 3kgs) so might be too small - my younger sister just had her baby, he's 3months now and already 10kgs

BLIMEY!!!
I just logged on and there's 10 pages to catch up on from last night. I left before the frenzy as didn't need it, but didn't think there'd be soooooo much reading to catch up on! Can't believe the rumpus it's caused on such a friendly board.
Glad those that were in need got in first.
BTW, i do usually lurk as i am quite a shy person, but frequently give away vouchers to those in need.If you’re British in the living room, what are you in the bathroom? European!0 -

Bluecow, yes only 1 person can have the child on their card so remove OH's PC from AC, he can still use your coupons though I believe.
