Kitty*in*Boots wrote: »mdhughes03-your vouchers went out today (sorry I didn't post them yesterday-they got soaked when I did, so I raided my mum's magazine and she had the insert too, lol). New-dry-ones are now winging their merry way to yours. x
Mari500-thank you so much for the pinky. xxx I am off to invest it wisely tomorrow. Any bright ideas on good 342 and pinky offers anybody?
Wow! to that nappy cake and basket...you guys are so talented. xxx
p.s. Hello all! *waves merrily*
Thanks so much Kitty, it's lovely of you to go to all that trouble
as for the 342, it really depends what you'd use/desperately want, but here's what I have bought/plan on buying using a No7 voucher each time
No7 stayperfect eyeshadow £8.50 =£3.50 after voucher
maybelline eyeshadow pencil £5.99
Bourjois glittery eyeliner pencil £4.xxp=free after 342
Total after pinky and 342= £9.49
********************************************************
but if there's anything you were going to buy anyway which is more expensive it can still be good value so long as you don't make your No7 item your cheapest item e.g. my planned shop is
Revlon foundation £13.99
No7 Mascara £11.50 £6.50 after pinky or £1.50 after pinky + No7 till spit
Revlon powder £10 (or anything else less than £11.50 =Free after 342
Total after pinky and No7 spit=£15.50 (so by my logic, powder mascara and 2 GWPs will cost me £1.50)
*******************************************************
The cheapest type of combo would be a £5.75 No7 item (like glossy locks)=0.75pafter pinky
2 bourjois eyeshadows= £5.75 after 342
so £6.50 for all three
Hope this helps someoneRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -
Not sure about that....can be a devil too lol
If you have spare bits that are good for xmas I was speaking to someone at my local council run nursing home the other day and they said 4 residents actually did not get xmas presents as they had no surviving relatives etc so sometimes the smallest things can make a difference to them
Well that sounds like a great cause- I have a relative who goes out to local area on rounds with the elderly and have often heard of such sad stories like that. Never put two and two together though really - but a great idea!
As I mentioned before I run kids parties and was going to look on holding a special party for underprivelaged kids in the area. Already work with a local kids charity for kids with various disabilities - it really is rewarding.I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!

But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

Sorry to be side tracking everyone lol
Before I had DS I used to help with disability challengers which is for children.
When organising parties for them I found ASDA AMAZING they have a person at each store who deals with charities...at easter they donated an egg each, xmas selection packs, end of the summer for the fun day tons of 'sports' gear and drinks etc.0 -
Hurrah for Broclo and KJ1980.!!!
I'm fairly new here, but certainly wouldn't consider myself a lurker. Haven't posted many times yet, but that doesn't mean I wont. However, to someone who isn't well-known here, it is a little intimidating when some people have obviously been around on here for much longer than others, and appear to know each other very well, either on or off this thread.
I support KJ's action earlier wholeheartedly - I totally understand where she was coming from.
You both sound like wonderful women, and I can only say this world would be a far better place if there were more people like you:ARIP Marmaduke 04.02.11, MIsty 09.06.12 and Rufus 19.7.24 very, very sadly missed xxx

And just wanted to say thanks to who recomended the collection 2000 dazzle eyeliner ... I bought one today and I love it! I want the other colours too... I'm not into make up too much so this is exactly the sparkle that I need
And , last thing, I want a sugestion for a blue mascara: collection 2000 - 1.99 i think, miss sporty 2.99, or rimmel 4.29 or something like that. Has anyone tryed one of them... I don't want to spend more as I won't be using it too much...0 -

on that note it is bed time!
(I am going to bed trying to think of 17 combinations to get lipgloss and 3 for 2 and also get the vintage GWP free in the St. Enoch branch!)I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
