I followed the link online, and filled in the form. But looking at it again, it looks like the link to join the health club, actually takes you to the advantage card application form, which probably explains the new card arriving.

I have just put a few things in the online basket, and i definately don't have health club. I have, however, just posted a health club appliction form i picked up in store, as i cannot find any way to join online. Maybe it just needs activating, but i have not been told that by Boots.

My old card was a bit faulty, so i will keep the new one. I don't suppose you can cancel an old card online?

I don't know how you would cancel an old card. Sounds like it would be worth contacting CS so they can sort it out for you.I did it online with the old website. It's not obvious from the new one how to join it. the link for the health club is http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?storeId=10052&categoryId=3630&langId=-1&catalogId=11051&ddkey=http:HealthClubMicrosite(just copy and paste the link). but someone did mention it should show you online what clubs you belong to.Log in as normal.....have just tried that but looks like .com is mucking about and i can't get on myself. was gonna look up how to show you which club(s) you belong to....Sorry!

Yay! Thanks KJ - Ordered 2 packs each for my sis and close friend! :j

Out of interest, I only ordered 2 packs each because I don't know how long newborns fit newborn nappies (on average) - can anyone tell me?

    ;)

Depends on birth weight - my little one put on an average of 1lb a week so with him they lasted about 5 weeks but my SIL had a 10lb baby so would have only been used for bout a week with her's - hth
There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age

Well said ikkle87, it's like being at school again when you have someone bragging `that I know something that you don't, nah nah nah. I'm not telling because you are smelling :p '. [/2p]

if you smell you can get cheap Mitchums at Boots lol xx
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

  • It is not very exciting as my youngest is 14 yo. But I did keep having to check because I am nosey too. Glad I have finally found out. My dd is expecting (not the 14 yo)but planning to use terry nappies so I won't bother with this myself. I think it was right to give the mum's with babies a chance first.

I used cloth nappies on both my sons (although did cheat and use disposables the first few weeks so may be worth your daughter getting a couple of packs in just till she finds her feet), used to feel very smug seeming them blowing dry on the washing line (the nappies not the children)!

Washing machine now on constantly so having to use disp with my daughter (mind you her bottom is big enough without cloth nappies lol)
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....
  • Hello

facebook thing was quite mean but if you looked at it (as I did - only natural curisosity) then it was a bit mean itself because it said things about how all the lurkers were suddenly posting on MSE. Well the glitch is now out and i am still here and I intend to prove myself as a 'non-lurker-genuine-money-saver-nice-person' if that's what it takes. Bit sad though that the forum I have been reading for months now feels a bit spoiled for me. Everyone was always excited and sharing their pics and buys until tonight and i couldn't wait to get to Boots and spend vouchers etc. Now feels a bit !!!!!y and conspiracy theory-ish. I hope this doesn't upset anyone I really do. Will go away now and be a quiet newbie. J

for some reason my 2 are stil in basket ? going to empty now so if you are quick you will get them :D i think anyway never sure how this site works lol
  • that is a brilliant offer:T
my daughter is nearly 4 months so the size 2 fit her better now but did find out on .com that if you buy 6 of the multipacks of pampers you get a discount so come to 40.50 then 1320 back in points plus if you have a code you may get another 500 points. not as good as the huggies newborn but a good price for nappies as under half price and they have a wider range of sizes.

  • just had a go with the new no7 palette...so here goes MrsBB's step by step guide, I'm gonna talk about the colours in steps to make it easier so, if you go from right to left on your palette, step 1 will be the cream colour, thru to step 4 which will be the darkest colour..iykwim :)

    Step 1
    6tk093.jpg

Use the palest colour, step 1 to cover the entire eyelid from lashes to just under your eyebrow, I would apply it once, then reapply to deepen colour.

    Step 2
    2chtmky.jpg

Using step two, apply from your lashes upwards past your socket crease. The brush in the pic shows where to stop, again apply twice to deepen colour.

    Step 3
    6ib40p.jpg

With step 3 colour, apply from lashes to just over the socket crease of your eye, being careful not to go as far up as step 2.

Step 3 Finished day time look
    2qkjpl4.jpg

if you want a subtle day time look, you could stop at this stage and apply mascara, if you want a more dramatic look continue

    Step 4
    2m5kkk5.jpg

Apply step 4 from your lashes to just under your socket crease, taking care not to apply over the step 3.

    Step 4 - Finished Look
    dc5zjt.jpg

Using the Maybelline Eyeliner Define pen, apply eyeliner as close to your lashes as possible, creating a little flick at the end of both top and bottom lashes

    Phew, thats it :)

Sorry CPG for clogging it up with pics, but someone asked for a link to the page with my eye pic on, but I don't know if I copy n paste the web addy if it will work...so did it this way, I do apologise for all those who don't wanna see *sheepish smile*

Also, thank you for the 17 voucher, but I have no printer...grrrrrrrrrr lol

And finally Sunnydawn - did you get your parcel? *hopes*
