  • Am I being really stupid? Please can you explain why it is malicious posting fb address?! TIA...

i just think that what was written on facebook has changed the atmosphere on here significantly.
regular money-savers discussing the lurkers etc
its obvious to all of us that there are lurkers, you only have to look at how many views this thread gets & how many people actually post.
i think its important to remember that for a newbie to just enter & start posting, well i know i was quite intimidated.
infact i remember saying in my earlier posts about how worried i was.
this thread is one of the most sucessful & its because it feels like a little community.
however, to echo the views of another member, i feel that lately its turning icy. dont want to offend anyone, just offering my views.

I think KJ was totally right to not post glitch straight away. we all saw what happened with the other dot.com glitch the other day - everything was gone within minutes! after all the hyping up i just wanted to know what this one was cos i'm nosey lol but i completely agreed with what KJ did - she let the people that needed it most know and if it had been posted right away then it would have been those people who missed out! I've only just started posting on here but i must say that you lot seem to be by far the nicest people on this sight - every other thread i go to seems to have people calling each other names and general nastiness - but you lot are different and genuinely want to help people who need it. well done KJ:T xx

After deciding not to buy for my self, the No7 Protect and Perfect Face and Body Collection glitch the other day (3 for £35 less any club discounts), i posted it on here. I was keen to share the infirmation, after people had helped me get sooooo many bargains.

But i was gutted when they all went within 5 mins, and most of the pople that had helped me had missed out on the bargain. I must admit that i wished that i had pm'd a few people first.

So i totally understand not posting the glitch to all and sundry, without giving the heads up to a few others first.

That said, i can also understand people being upset at being left out of the loop.

It's not an easy decision to make.

In the back of the baby to you mag, the codes are there for all to see so you got dummies MAM's on half price at min with the code are 99p but couldn't use two promotional codes, booo

Thanks Hotpot, your quinny was a brilliant find, can you grab me one lol:rotfl:

    x
Never thought of that! hmph You might get a good SA to override
Did find some reduced MAM dummies to £1 so hid them till I get back but lost the coupon now
I love my Quinny, sadly it was the last one, seen them elsewhere sadly not reduced

Thanks anyway, i think they're ok but one would be fab instead of a basket for one of my hampers. (all pink stuff) Would just have to reinforce the insides with some cardboard...

very well put ikkle (sunday name as such an important post) I have resisted the temptation to say much the same re some posts, thank you!

I agree with your posts, I am a fairly new visitor to the boots site but have benefited greatly form the glitches & the knowledge you all have shared- the facebook posting did seem a bit tattle tale, but I don't have facebook so I don't care. I also don't have a child who needs nappies but I know that a lot of people buy things on deals in order to profit from them be it ganes from morrisons or make up or nappies so I think it was right to ensure those long time posters who would benefit should know first. I have tried to share any small bit of knowledge I gain - on the whole you are all so much better informed than I but I do think part of MSE is to share among everyone ideas & ways to save money. so thanks to all on this board for making me welcome & not feel silly If I repeat old news.
