The terms and conditions of the PC World price match state that 'once the price is verified' they will offer the deal.

The question is HOW they choose to verify it. Even if we could find a printed advert of the deal (apparently there was one in the Daily Express on Monday) they may then also choose to check stock levels at local stores to wriggle out of the promise anyway.

Bit long winded but you can print off pages from the Daily mail (where the ad was placed on Monday). Go to:

    http://mailonline.newspaperdirect.com/epaper/viewer.aspx

Then you'll need to sign up for a 7 day free trial.

once signed up select Monday's paper from the menu bar at top left on go to page 34 - there you will find one Morrisons advert showing Tiger Wood, Spore, Sim 2 etc.

  • To Sashysach and anyone else who has had an uphill struggle with pcworld over price matching. Although I was successful, my grown-up son and daughter were not  .

Anyway, my son and I penned a letter of complaint about refusal to price match Morrisons and play.com (Anyone is welcome to the template, just pm me) and have just received the reply below! Hooray, it just shows that it is worth sticking to your guns when you are right!
