:hello:Hi everyone! I've been having a lazy day today, but even so, I have caught up and cleaned the cloakroom and the bathroom!
DS1 is home on Fridays, so I've had company, and OH was also home this week as he was doing something with the windows - replacing the glazing bead??? Resulted in the breaking of the glass in the kitchen window, but happily a neighbour has a spare window he saved when another neighbour had all their windows replaced! There are advantages to living in a fairly friendly close!
Speedy trip into town this afternoon, to move some of my long awaited pay into the bulding society before the children decide to spend it. I have offered to advance DS1 and DD the EMA, until their application has been processed. It's taking ages this year. I just had to pop into Boots, as I still had some vouchers - although I was cross that I missed one of the skincare ones, as they finished on the 9th. I've ordered some more photos, and also treated DD to a No 7 mascara with a free eye shadow palette - I quite fancy that for myself, so I may borrow it back!
I'm quite pleased that I've kept up with the flying more or less this week. It definitely gets easier the longer you've done it! I want to concentrate on getting the living room finished, as I sort of abandoned it half way done, and I'm now getting fed up with it. I also want to get the replacement cloakroom sorted. I forgot to tell you that I got the quote from the first company - bearing in mind that the cloakroom barely measures just over 1m x 2m - a smidgeon under £4,000!!! It's just finding the time to get people to come over and quote, and then sort out whether we are going to pay more for a company to do the whole lot, or try and project manage ourselves and save the money...
Going to watch CSI and then go to bed, see you tomorrow!
ps I was reading on my son's laptop earlier and forgot it was on his user name, so if you were thanked by Piers, it was actually me!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
